A little bit of history In 1942.. Rotary International clubs from 21 different countries organized a conference in London, England to develop a vision for the world. In 1945. 49 Rotary International members traveled to San Francisco, California to assist in the drafting of the United Nations Charter. To this day. Rotary International holds the highest consecutive status with the United Nations as a non-governmental organization.
