Nurseryman eligible to participate in the tender : Nurseryman engaged in production of Saplings through vegetative propagation having Accreditation from National Horticulture Board (NHB) and credentials of similar nature of Supply to the Govt. Organization in last three years 3. Terms and conditions:- 1. Successful Tenderer shall have to execute an Agreement with the Office of the Deputy Director of Horticulture, on a Non-judicial Stamp Paper of Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred) only within the date specified in the letter of intimation. The cost of Non-judicial Stamp Paper of Rs. 100/- is to be borne by the willing tenderer. 2. The intending Tenderer(s) shall have to furnish the attested copy of the documents related to Accreditation Certificate, Credential of work, VAT (if any), PAN, Trade License and other related documents. 3. The intending Tenderer(s) will have to mention the source of mother plants and the authority may check the same at any point of time. 4. No tender will be accepted without Earnest Money. 5. Each page of Tender shall be signed by the Tenderer before submission of Tender Paper. 6. The kind of supply must be written on the envelope. 7. Name & address of the tenderer and the item for which tender is to be deposited should be superscribed in block letters on the top of the envelope. 8. Supply of grafted guava in poly packets, air layered guava & budded sweet orange in earthen ball should be made to the different blocks of the District of upto Gram Panchayat Level with the own cost of the successful Tenderer (The Block-wary allocation will be furnished with the Supply Order) 9. A supply order will be issued from the office of the undersigned after accepting the same. Tenderer must supply the item within stipulated time period as will be mentioned in the supply order, failing which his tender may be cancelled and earnest money will be forfeited. No hike of rates will be allowed later on. 10. The tenders, which do not fulfill any of the above conditions or incomplete in any respect, are liable to be summarily rejected. Any deviation from the standard as required if found any time by the authority, the same will have to be replaced within specified time. 11. Payment will be made from the Office of the, in such a manner that 60% of the total payment will be made after getting satisfactory delivery report from the different Panchayat Samities and rest 40% amount will be paid 90 days after 1st payment considering the satisfactory Field Report from competent authority. 12. The entire quantity of the material should be supplied within 20 days after issuance of the supply Order. 13. The authority reserves the right to reject or accept any or all tenders without assigning any reason whatsoever. 14. The authority is not bound to accept the lowest tender. Acceptance / cancellation of the tender will depend solely on discretion of the authority and the authority is not bound to accept the lowest quotation if found unsuitable. 15. If the successful tenderer denies to accept the offer letter then his Earnest Money will be forfeited. In case of failure to complete the supply work within the stipulated time, his offer letter will be cancelled and Security Deposit will be forfeited without assigning any reason thereof. 16. In case of successful tenderer the Earnest Money will be released after successful completion of the supply to the concerned Panchayat Samities 17. In case of successful tenderer, the Security Deposit will be deducted from the 1st bill of the 60% of the supplied value. 18. In the event of tender being submitted by a tenderer, it must be signed by each member thereof and in the event of absence of any partner, it must be signed on his behalf by a person holding a power of attorney authorizing him to do so. 19. The Tenderer shall have to submit the attested photocopy of all related documents along with the tender paper. 20. All papers shall be verified with the originals. 21. The Security Deposit Money will be refunded after successful delivery of the items and getting satisfactory field report 22. Tenderer should supply the item as per required specification 23. No claim for any subsequent increase in market price of anything more than the rates offered / quoted by the Tenderer shall be entertained. Contd.

24. Rate quoted includes everything including transportation up to block level, etc. and the tenderer will quote their rate accordingly. 25. The authority reserves the right to issue Tender Forms / Documents and accept or reject any tender thereof without assigning any reason whatever and not to be bound to accept the lowest tender. Specification of plants to be supplied Guava 1. Plants of variety L-49 should be produced from air layering/gooti, should be healthy & disease free and with a height of 2(two) feet or above. 2. Plants should be true to type 3. Plants should have sufficient number of roots and properly secured in black poly bag of not less than 1.0kg wt. Two separate sealed envelopes addressed to the,, one containing technical specification along with necessary documents and the other containing the commercial specification along with earnest money are required to be deposited superscribing the purpose clearly on the top of the sealed envelope(s). Both the sealed envelopes are required to be submitted inside one single envelop addressed to the, and superscribing the purpose clearly on the top of the envelope. Technical specification will be opened first followed by commercial specification. The participants who will not be able to satisfy the technical specification his commercial bid will not be opened further. Earnest money amounting to Rs.10000/- (Rupees ten thousand) only is to be deposited by open Bank Demand Draft drawn in favour of District Horticulture Mission,, payable at Suri, along with tender documents, without which the tender(commercial bid) will be treated as cancelled. Earnest money of the successful tenderer will be kept in the office and will be released after completion of the supply of the item up to block level.
