Website Our website is often the first point of call for people who are looking for information or support. We have around 100,000 users and 300,000 page views per month. Last year, we had 4,099,953 page views! We use google analytics to help us adapt and improve what we offer. Fun titbit: More women use our website than men, and most of our visitors view the site on a mobile phone. 2
Facebook page Our flagship social media channel Used for awareness raising and promoting our charity s functions/services 180,000 likes (it was 17,000 likes in March 2014!) 1-3 posts daily, reaching approx. 500,000 million people weekly Inbox receives 15-20 messages a day across all teams filtered into a Trello board 3

Emails & E-actions Our regular e-newsletter goes out to over 50,000 people each month! We create emails and campaigns so that our supporters can get involved and help make change. For example, we recently did a twitter campaign where we asked supporters to tweet an MP about Blue Badges. 6
About us We are a small team of just three people. A typical day for me might involve Creating a news item for the Health Service Development team about a new treatment. Creating a facebook/twitter advert. Meeting with the fundraising team to see which events need a boost. Reviewing and editing new video content. Creating a facebook/twitter advert. Meeting with our data team to plan an email campaign. Building a new page on the website for membership. 7
How you can help We really appreciate your support! Make sure your social media accounts are on brand (no old logos). Like, Comment and Share our posts (You can turn on notifications so you don t miss anything). Give us a 5-star review on facebook. Take part in our online campaigns. This December we will be promoting the Star of Hope decoration and Be YoursELF video again, so please get behind us by liking/sharing. Some ideas for you Improve your online presence with these quick wins: Set up google alerts and keep an eye out for articles about Crohn s and/or Colitis in your local news, which you can share. If you see a question on twitter and you know the answer, respond to that person and engage in conversation. Consider how you can make social media posts eye-catching include a picture or a fun GIF. 9
Things that are coming up We are hoping to produce more video content in the future - we have a new informational video coming very soon! We re working with our Comms team on an app to help people understand what it s like to live with Crohn s and Colitis. We are currently underway with a digital strategy project, looking at how we can improve the way we work. Next year we expect to see a significant update and refreshing of our website, so watch this space! 10
