PUBLIC HEARING Harper moved and Schreck seconded the motion to BUDGET AMENDMENT set the Public Hearing date for the FY 2014-2015 Budget Amendment for May 18, 2015 at 7:30 P.M. Motion carried by all ayes. MOSQUITO CONTROL BAKER TOWNSHIP TRUCK SHOW MAP MAPLE STREET GRADE ORDINANCE BUILDING PERMITS LIQUOR LICENSE UNITED FOODS approve the contract with Mosquito Control of Iowa for $4,120. Motion carried by all ayes. Nick Stallman, from Baker Township, called and reported Baker Township will be signing the new Fire Protection Contract. approve the Paullina Truck Show and Jake Brake Contest Street Closing map as presented by Adam Harper and Charlie Harper. Motion carried with Council Member Harper abstaining. Harper moved and Schreck seconded the motion to conduct the 1 st reading of Maple Street Reconstruction Grade Ordinance. Motion carried by all ayes. Schreck moved and Harper seconded the motion to approve a Building Permit for Bruce Tull to cement the end of his driveway at 426 N. Main Street. Code Stilca to build a garden shed at 306 S Mickley Street. Motion carried by all ayes. Stamer moved and Ihle seconded the motion to approve a Class C Beer Permit for United Foods. Motion carried by all ayes.
TRUCK PARKING ADJOURNMENT Council Member Harper discussed the issue of where trucks can and cannot park in Paullina. Harper asked for the ordinance to be relaxed. Mayor Otto suggested that the trucks be allowed to park in the lot located west of Paullina that the city purchased. The council decided to send letters out to local truck drivers and invite them to come to the May 18, 2015 council meeting to discuss ideas on places to park trucks and trailers.
