Letter of Support for Maintenance Dredging at the Schneider Dock Facility (Supervisor Rex Bohn) RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of Supervisors authorize the Chair to sign the letter of support. Clerk of the Board. 4. Board Orders - Meeting of March 26, 2013 RECOMMENDATION: Approve Board Orders from March 26, 2013. Authorize the Clerk of the Board and the Board Chair, to sign the minute book in accordance with California Government Code Section 25103. Health and Human Services - Social Services 5. Request for approval to exercise first option to extend the lease for office space at K'ima:w Medical Center. RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of Supervisors approve exercising first option to extend the lease for office space at K'ima:w Medical Center. an entity of the Hoopa Valley Tribe, on behalf of the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), for office space located at K'ima:w Medical Center, 0 Airport Road, Hoopa; authorize Real Property to send a letter to Lessor that County is exercising the first option to extend the lease; and direct the Clerk of the Board to return on executed Board Agenda Item to Real Property. Human Resources 6. Dissolution of the Current Eligibility List for Investigator (District Attorney) RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of Supervisors approve the dissolution of the current eligibility list for Investigator (District Attorney), effective upon the establishment of a new eligibility list. 7. Dissolution of the Current Eligibility List for Cadastral Drafting Technician RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of Supervisors approve the dissolution of the current eligibility list for Cadastral Drafting Technician, effective immediately. Probation 8. Increase Juvenile Corrections Officer I Isai Orona from Salary Range 303 Step 1A to Step A RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of Supervisors approve an increase of Salary Range 303 Step 1A to Step A for Juvenile Corrections Officer I Isai Orona effective March 31, 2013. 9. Approval of Second Amendment with University of Cincinnati. RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of Supervisors approve Second Amendment to Agreement with University of Cincinnati to continue working with the Probation Department for services related to the Evidence-Based Practices Program (EBPP) grant; and authorize the Chief Probation Officer to sign the Second Amendment.

Public Works 10. Surplus Property. RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of Supervisors declare the following property surplus: 1 2008 Ford Crown Victoria; Equipment # 07139; mileage 142,200; Motor Pool; 1 1988 Gradall excavator (parts only); equipment # 41856; Roads; and authorize the Purchasing Agent to dispose of the surplus property. Deposit the revenue from the sale in the appropriate revenue accounts. D. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS 1. National County Government Month Proclamation and Presentation by Chief Probation Officer Bill Damiano. (Supervisor Ryan Sundberg) RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of Supervisors adopt the Proclamation and hear the Presentation. 2. Resolution Recognizing the Timber Heritage Association and the 2013 Roundhouse Rendezvous Dinner and Auction. (Supervisor Rex Bohn) RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of Supervisors adopt the Resolution. 3. Boys and Girls Club Week Proclamation and 75th Birthday Anniversary. (Supervisor Rex Bohn) RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of Supervisors adopt the Proclamation. 4. Proclaim April 2013 as Sexual Assault Awareness and Child Abuse Prevention Month. (Supervisor Virginia Bass) RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of Supervisors adopt the Proclamation. 5. Proclaim April 2013 as Alcohol Awareness Month in Humboldt County.
