MINUTE SUMMARY 1 BE IT REMEMBERED that the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the City of Olive Branch met in regular session, November 20, 2018 at 6:30 o clock p.m., in the Municipal Court Room at 6900 Highland Street. AGENDA Mayor Phillips called the regular meeting to order at 6:30 o clock p.m. Alderwoman Pat Hamilton had the opening prayer. ROLL CALL (Establish Quorum): The City Clerk called roll to establish quorum with the following members present to wit: Mayor Scott B. Phillips, Alderwoman Jan Aldridge, Alderman George Collins, Alderman Dale Dickerson, Alderman Gil Earhart, Alderwoman Pat Hamilton, Alderwoman Joy Henderson and Alderman David Wallace. These members constitute a quorum. Also present were Tina Griffith, City Clerk and Bryan Dye, City Attorney. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Minutes of the Regular Meeting held November 6, 2018, approved as presented, motion carried CONSENT AGENDA: Items on Consent Agenda approved as presented, motion carried 1. Travel/Training Approved 2. Authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to make transfers from the Water/Sewer Fund to the Water/Sewer Bond Fund for debt service payments due December 1, 2018. Authorized 3. Authorize designation of two (2) vehicles as unmarked vehicles and direct the City Clerk to furnish appropriate documentation to the Office of the State Auditor. Authorized 4. Authorize the City of Olive Branch to purchase one (1) 2016 Ford Explorer Police Interceptor from the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Authorized 5. Authorize expenditure of $200.00 for the Police Department to sponsor a coffee event at Brown Missionary Baptist Church, with the specific finding the sponsorship will advertise and promote the City of Olive Branch. Authorized

Authorize the City of Olive Branch to enter into an annual maintenance agreement with Memphis Communications Corporation for hearing assistance equipment at the Courthouse and pay all associated costs. Authorized 8. Authorize the City of Olive Branch to enter into an annual maintenance agreement with Memphis Communications Corporation for audio visual equipment at the Police Department and pay all associated costs. Authorized 13. Authorize the City of Olive Branch to renew the annual Insurance Agreement with K & K Insurance Group and pay all associated costs. Authorized 14. Authorize execution of Letter of Understanding pertaining to enrollment in the Phillips 66-Branded Airport Dealers Excess Liability Program. Authorized 15. Authorize expenditures up to $7,000.00 for the Olive Branch Police Department s Shop with a Cop event, with the specific finding the expenditure will advertise and promote the City of Olive Branch. Authorized 16. Authorize the City of Olive Branch to enter into a Service Agreement with Waste Connections, Inc. and pay all associated costs. Authorized 17. Authorize expenditure up to $400 in total for candy to be distributed at the Olive Branch Christmas Parade, with the specific finding that said expenditure will advertise and promote the City of Olive Branch. Authorized 18. Approve Memorandum of Agreement between the City of Olive Branch, Mississippi Department of Health, and Bureau of Emergency Medical Services relative to establishing a mechanism for the coordination of emergency medical resources in the event of an emergency. Authorize the City of Olive Branch to enter into a professional services contract with Premier Lawnscapes, Inc. for landscape services for the 2019 and 2020 calendar year. Authorized 27. Authorize purchase of promotional items and greeting cards to be presented to various individuals and organizations by the Mayor and other administrative staff. Authorized 28. MINUTE SUMMARY 4 29. Set Public Hearing for consideration of application for a Zoning Map Amendment, submitted by Lee Davidson, The Reaves Firm, on behalf of Whitaker Desoto LLC, the property owner. The request is to rezone 14.2 +/- acre property from P-B, Planned Business to M-1, Light Industrial District. The property is located on the southeast corner of Polk Lane and Kirk Road.
