Public Comments Mike Dopson- :Land owner on the Little Salkawhatchie- Since the irrigation has been promoted in these rivers. I have noticed that during the summer months when we have a shortage of rainfall, that most of the time the irrigation program inaudible...the last several years there has been very little water. I don t know how it was allowed for irrigation, but if we don t preserve these rivers for our children and grand children, we will not have any more rivers. If we keep allowing people in big industry to come in here and not look out for the smaller people, when you open up one big gap it leads to another and this is what has happened. If we don t do something about it we will not have rivers for our future. Council Time Mr. Taylor thanked everyone for coming and wished everyone a Happy New Year. Executive Session a) Contractual Edisto Civic Center b) Legal Advice Procurement, Contractual c) Mutual Aid Agreement- City of Walterboro Regular Session Mr. Taylor said all of the items were discussed in executive session. Mr. Whetsell made a motion to approve Resolution 14-R-06, To Approve an Intergovernmental Agreement Regarding Mutual Aid for Fire Protection between Colleton County, the Colleton County Fire-Rescue District and the City of Walterboro and was seconded by Dr. Flowers.
