He founder of International Human Rights Observer (IHRO) Pakistan. It was founded on August 14, 1996.His main distinction is that he defended the image of Pakistanis and other communities at United Nations, Europe and North America, Japan and Africa with respect to human rights. He practically motivated the people by his honest non-stop effort and movement People s Movement for Human Rights and as a result today 55000 volunteer members are working for this immense cause through his founded organization International Human Rights Observer (IHRO) He introduced the concept of Human Right Education in Pakistan for the very first time He always protested and worked with strong passion for the rights of the people on every possible level Mr. Khalid Sulehri always raised the voice for the right of self determination of the Kashmiries in every nook and corner of the civil world either it is in front of the UN headquarter New York, USA or in front of 10 Downing street, (London)

and White House Washington. D.C (USA). He is the founder of First Human Rights University in Pakistan that is in progress He is among active human rights activists, who raised the voice for United Nations Universal Charter of Human Rights and Islamic charter of Human Rights everywhere in the world and established Pakistan Institute of Human Rights Research and Teaching (PIHRT). IHRO is the first human rights organization in Pakistan led by Mr. Khalid Sulehri, which arranged first National Convent on Human Rights and Good Governance in Pakistan. All political Parties signed this human rights declaration before General Election 2002. a lot of other distinguished events and conferences are on the credit of IHRO. Mr. Khalid Sulehri took as a challenge to reform civil political and good governance in Pakistan through his National Human Rights Development Advocacy Project since 2000. Mr. Khalid Sulehri attended the "World Summit for Information Society from 10th-12th December 2003 in Geneva-Switzerland. He Participated in the United Nations CTBT conference in Austria Vienna in September 2003 Attended the 29th Session of CEDAW from 9th-18th July 2003 at UN New York Participated in 11th Session of the Commission for sustainable development of United Nations from 28th April to 9th May 2003 at UN New York. Participated in "3rd World Water Forum in Kyoto Japan in March 2003. He attended the "World Summit for Sustainable Development" as a major group in Jonesburg South Africa in August 2002. He participated in the 39th Session of the Commission for Social Development from 13th-23rd February 2000 at United Nations Head Quarters as a South Asian Partner of International Foundation for Rural Development. General Election 2008: He also participated in the general election 2008 as an independent candidate of National Assembly fromna-48 from Islamabad and boycott the election just before 72 hours before the election day due to violation of the Election commission code of conduct and expected rigging by the ruler party and worse violations of the human rights. He also worked as coordinator with renowned Muslim League leader Mr. MalikMuhammad Qasim, who was federal minister and chairman Federal Anti-Corruption Committee and leader of the house in Senate in 1993 Government as a collation partner of Pakistan People Party(PPP) led by Ex-Prime Minister Shaheed Mohtrama Benazir Bhutto.
