PRESIDENT 1. Preside at all Club meetings and direct where necessary. 2. Prepare a Presidents report for presentation at the Annual General Meeting. 3. Ensure all committees are run in an appropriate manner. 4. Sign the Minutes of Meetings once they have been accepted by all committee members as a true and accurate account. 5. Liaise with BHNSA. 6. Represent the club at BHNSA Council Meetings. VICE PRESIDENT 1. Act as President in his/her absence. 2. Chair all subcommittees. 3. Liaise with the Executive Committee on recipients of Perpetual Awards. 4. Chair the Grading Committee. TREASURER 1. Be responsible for the financial management of the club. 2. Maintain necessary books of accounts and produce them on request of the Executive Committee. 3. Keep a record of the assets and liabilities of the club. 4. Submit a written financial report at Executive Committee and General Meetings. 5. Receive all monies payable to the club and issue receipts as required. 6. Bank all monies within 7 days of receipt. 7. Pay all accounts as they fall due. 8. Present an audited balance sheet at the Annual General Meeting. 9. SECRETARY 1. Act as Public Officer as required by the Associations Incorporation Act. 2. Ensure all reports are forwarded to The Department of Fair Trading as required Associations Incorporation Act. 3. Ensure a register of all members is maintained as required under the Associations Incorporation Act. 4. Ensure a register of all Executive Committee members and other committee members is maintained as required under the Associations Incorporation Act. 5. Ensure a record is kept of all attendees at all meetings and follow- up absences in terms of Playing Rules. 6. Ensure a register is maintained of current Playing Rules and copies circulated at the first General Meeting prior to the commencement of the netball season. 7. Prepare and issue a calendar of club activities to the Executive committee members, Life Members and team representatives. 8. Attend to all correspondence and issue notices as required. 9. Redirect all relevant material to the appropriate persons. 10. Notify all Executive Committee Members and Life Members of Executive Committee meetings. 11. Maintain a record in a minute book of all proceedings of each meeting. 12. Ensure copies of all Meeting minutes are provided to Executive Committee members. 13. Ensure copies of all Meeting minutes are provided to club members prior to the next General Meeting. 14. Ensure an agenda is prepared for all meetings. REGISTRAR JUNIOR AND SENIOR 1. Receive all registrations. 2. Maintain a record of all registered players. 3. Present a written report at Executive Committee and General Meetings. 4. Liaise with the BHNSA Registrar. 5. Is responsible for the registration of all teams with the BHSNA. 6. Is responsible for the registration and de- registration of players during the season. 7. Arrange grading day(s) and venue. SENIOR UMPIRES CONVENOR 1. Arrange umpire allocation. 2. Is responsible for training umpires. 3. Is responsible for nominating umpires for badging. 4. Liaise with the BHNSA Umpiring Coordinator and Committee. 5. Maintain a record of all badged umpires within the club. 6. Chair Umpires Committee. JUNIOR UMPIRES CONVENOR 1. Arrange umpire allocation. 2. Is responsible for training umpires. 3. Is responsible for nominating umpires for badging. 4. GLENWOOD NETBALL CLUB NON- EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE COACHING COORDINATOR 1. Research and institute methods of encouraging and improving coaching within the club. 2. Liaise with the BHNSA Coaching Coordinator. 3. Allocate coaches to teams. 4. Maintain a record of coaches and their qualifications. MANAGERS COORDINATOR 1. Liaise with each team s manager. 2. Allocate and coordinate BHSNA canteen duty. 3. Arrange and coordinate team photographs. UNIFORM OFFICER 1. Is responsible for the supply of uniforms. 2. Is responsible for maintaining a register of uniforms purchased, sold and remaining in stock. 3. Provide a list of these assets to the Treasurer as required. EQUIPMENT OFFICER 1. Is responsible for the supply of playing equipment. 2. Is responsible for maintaining a register of equipment purchased, sold and remaining in stock. 3. Provide a list of these assets to the Treasurer as required. FUNDRAISING COORDINATOR 1. Coordinate all fundraising within the club. 2. Coordinate social events with the club. MEDIA OFFICER 1. Is responsible for the issue of a weekly club newsletter. 2. Is responsible for the communications of relevant matters to club members via the newsletter. 3. Is responsible for club camera & photography. 4. Maintain club website. The committee is a working committee. They are responsible for the general running of the club.
