Reverend Bob Hailey addressed the Board regarding the San Joaquin General Hospital, Alien Green Cards, immigrants being robbed, the Denmon case, crime prevention, foster care program and the drug problem. BOARD OF SUPERVISORS QUESTIONS AND COMMENTS Supervisor Ornellas echoed Supervisor Sieglock s remark that comments by the Board s weekly guest are mean-spirited and hurtful. Supervisor Ornellas stated that there is a bill, AB 1561, that will amend State Boards and Commissions members removal for failure to attend three out of four consecutive meetings. He informed the Board that he may have a problem with the Delta Protection Commission because he is now on COG. The bill is in the Senate Rules Committee before it goes to the Governor. Supervisor Ornellas said that he will continue to follow the status of this bill. Supervisor Sieglock stated that a letter was received approximately a month ago from the San Joaquin Historical Society. He requested that the matter be placed on the agenda to discuss the museum, what is taking place out there, what new projects are going on, what is happening with the Executive Director, and to discuss the items contained in the Historical Society s letter that were not budget items. Supervisor Sieglock made a motion to put the matter on the agenda for the March 7, 2006 Board Meeting. After considerable discussion, the Board voted to place the matter on the March 7, 2006 Agenda. Approved. Sieglock/Mow/5 CLOSED SESSION County Counsel Terrence Dermody announced that the Board was going to meet in Closed Session and may have a comment coming out of Closed Session.
