Conditions of permit, reclamation plan update and financial assurance increase, were not submitted to Zoning Office at time of agenda preparation. Items have since been submitted and permit is in compliance. Recap of Zone Change Recommendations to the County Board: 2 zone changes. DEPARTMENT REPORTS: Planning and Zoning/Board of Adjustment: POWTS training was held last week. Land Conservation: Ashley Vande Voort, Land Conservationist, attending Land+Water Conservation meeting. Will be revising Land and Water Management Plan internally, rather than contracting out. Well water testing program will begin April 8th. Surveyor: Finishing drafting corner sheets and preparing for summer projects. Land Records: Plat book sales anticipated to increase when snow disappears. Creating maps for other departments in plat book style. First round of grant payments was received. Due to weather, unsure of Pictometry flight date. Real Property Lister: 1,482 documents completed in 2018; mailed 284 lottery credit letters. Register of Deeds: 426 documents recorded in January; 430 documents recorded in February. INFORMATIONAL ITEM: Private Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems (POWTS) Maintenance Project Update: Thanks goes to Shelly Wisniewski, Robin Schaffer and Heidi Meyer for the additional work and effort provided for implementation of program. Approximately 2,600 postcards will be mailed out March 20 th. Training was held for plumbers and pumpers on March 7 th.
