SCHEDULED ITEMS 5. 1 CALIFORNIA HERO PROGRAM WHICH ALLOWS FINANCING THROUGH THE PROPERTY ASSESSMENT CLEAN ENERGY ( PACE) PROGRAM City Clerk Teresa Vargas provided the presentation. A question and answer period ensued throughout the presentation. City Attorney Salvador Navarrete and Director of Municipal Development Eve Perez, with the Hero Program, provided additional information. The question and answer period continued. Council considered options regarding the implementation of the California HERO Program which allows financing through the Property Assessment Clean Energy ( PACE) Program. Council consensus directed staff to further negotiate indemnification language with HERO, and bring back the item for consideration at a future meeting. No further action taken. 6. COUNCIL COMMUNICATIONS 6. 1 MAYOR & COUNCILMEMBER COMMITTEE REPORT( S) Vice Mayor Dresser reported his attendance to the monthly San Joaquin County Regional Rail Commission meeting. City Manager Stephen Salvatore reported his attendance to the annual San Joaquin County Partnership Executive Meeting. 6. 2 MAYOR & COUNCILMEMBER COMMENT( S) Councilmember Elliott expressed his appreciation to staff for receiving the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting Award.
