2013-289 Consider approval of Resolution 2013-289 authorizing a Use License Agreement with Baylor University to permit an electric service line to be placed under the Brazos River for a term of 6 years at a fee of $1.17 per linear foot per year and providing for a 4% fee increase each year; and authorizing the City Manager to execute all documents necessary to complete this transaction. 2013-290 Consider approval of Resolution 2013-290 authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District, in an amount not to exceed $31,410.24 for law enforcement services at Lake Waco Parks during the period of May 24, 2013 through September 2, 2013, and authorizing the City Manager to furnish additional information and documentation as is deemed necessary for implementation of said program, and matters pertaining thereto. BIDS/PURCHASES 2013-291 Consider approval of Resolution 2013-291 awarding a contract to JNB Construction, Ltd., Waco, Texas, lowest responsible bidder, for the Old Robinson Road Sewer Replacement Project, in an amount not to exceed $107,381.00; and authorizing the City Manager to execute all documents necessary to complete this transaction. 2013-292 Consider approval of Resolution 2013-292 awarding a contract to Viking Construction, Inc., Georgetown, Texas, lowest responsible bidder, for the Slurry Seal at Various Locations 2013-3 Project, in an amount not to exceed $406,525.00; and authorizing the City Manager to execute all documents necessary to complete this transaction. CITY OPERATIONS 2013-293 Consider approval of Resolution 2013-293 authorizing the sale of tax foreclosed property located at 515 S. 17 th St., Waco, Texas by direct sale in accordance with the City of Waco Sale of City-Owned Property Policy to Elisha A. French for a total amount of $1,060.00; and authorizing the City Manager to execute all documents necessary to complete this transaction. 2013-294 Consider approval of Resolution 2013-294 authorizing the sale of tax foreclosed property located at 925 E. Waco Dr., Waco, Texas by direct sale in accordance with the City of Waco Sale of City-Owned Property Policy to George Marin for a total amount of $11,250.00; and authorizing the City Manager to execute all documents necessary to complete this transaction. 2013-295 Consider approval of Resolution 2013-295 authorizing: 1) the sale of tax foreclosed property located at 409 Turner Street, Waco, Texas to Neighborhood Housing Services of Waco, Inc. for $24,010.00 and other good and valuable consideration, and 2) the simultaneous execution of a development agreement with Neighborhood Housing Services of Waco, Inc. for the development of the property located at 409 Turner Street, Waco, Texas; and authorizing the City Manager to enter into negotiations and to execute all documents in connection therewith. ORDINANCES 2013-296 Consider approval of Ordinance 2013-296 to abandon a portion of S. 3 rd Street north of Speight Avenue (0.290 acre tract) and a portion of Speight Avenue between Bagby Avenue and S. 4 th Street (2.111 acre tract) for the realignment of Speight Avenue, in the City of Waco, McLennan County, Texas.
