VILLAGE OF POSEN MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF POSEN HELD TUESDAY JANUARY 9, 2018 AT 6:30 P.M. IN THE POSEN MUNICIPAL BUILDING CALL TO ORDER President Frank Podbielniak called the Regular Meeting to order for Tuesday January 9, 2018 at 6:30 P.M. in the Posen Municipal Building, 2440 W. Walter Zimny Drive, Posen, Illinois 60469. ROLL CALL Upon the Call of the Roll by Clerk Myers, President Podbielniak, Trustees Wisniewski, Klapkowski, Costello, Casillas, Schnering and Lopez were present. Also in attendance were Attorney Robert Molaro, Fire Chief Kevin Szewczyk, Police Chief William Alexander, Accountant Linda Arvia, and Treasurer Addie Taylor-Jackson. Quorum PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE President Podbielniak led the Village Board and attending public in the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance. RECORD OF THE PROCEEDINGS President Podbielniak called for a motion to accept the minutes from December 12, 2017. Trustee Wisniewski made a motion, seconded by Trustee Lopez. All Trustees Voted Aye: motion was approved. PRESIDENT- F. PODBIELNIAK President Podbielniak announced the appointment of Rich Klapkowski to the Police Pension Board, Clerk Myers did the Appointment. President Podbielniak stated that the Village is renewing their contract with Nicor for a fifty year term. Joe DelReal is in attendance to answer any questions. EXECUTIVE SESSION President Podbielniak called for a motion to accept the executive minutes. Motion made by Trustee Wisniewski, seconded by Trustee Casillas. All Trustee voted Aye: motion was approved.

FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION-Chairman J. Casillas President Podbielniak called for a motion to approve Warrant #16-17/18, Trustee Casillas moved, seconded by Trustee Schnering. All Trustees Voted Aye: motion was approved. President Podbielniak called for a motion to approve Warrant # 17-17/18, Trustee Casillas moved, seconded by Trustee Wisniewski. All Trustees Voted Aye: motion was approved. Clerk Myers read ordinance No. 2018-02 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING NORTHERN ILLINOIS GAS COMPANY (NICOR), ITS SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS, TO CONSTRUCT, OPERATE AND MAINTAIN A GAS DISTRIBUTING SYSTEM IN AND THROUGH THE VILLAGE OF POSEN. Trustee Casillas made a motion to approve ordinance # 2018-02. Seconded by Trustee Lopez. All trustees voted Aye: Ordinance # 2018-02 Passed. Clerk Myers also read RESOLUTION # 2018-01 DESIGNATING HOILDAY-PERSONAL LEAVE TIME VACATIONS AND ELECTION DAYS OFF FOR ALL FULL TIME EMPLOYEES OF THE VILLAGE OF POSEN OTHER THAN THOSE AFFECTED BY THE POLICE COLLECTIVE BARGAINING CONTRACT FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 2018.
