Call to Order The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m. 2. Pledge of Allegiance Ann, Committee Volunteer, led the Pledge of Allegiance. 3. Roll Call Present: Committee Chair Vicki Warren and Committee Member Jordan Ehrenkranz 4. Public Comments There were no public comments. 5. Introduction of Committee Volunteers There were no introductions. 6. Accept Meeting Minutes 6.1 August 10, 2017 The minutes for August 10, 2017 were included in the packet for approval. The minutes for August 10, 2017 were approved as presented in the agenda packet. 7. Plans for November 11, 2017 Celebration Mike Borja, Administrative Services Manager, discussed and provided examples of posters, lanyards, and the program. There was discussion regarding the balloon arch. There was discussion regarding the banners that would be posted on the three POA (Property Owners Association) guard gates. There was discussion regarding the Veteran s Banner and the updated list.

There was discussion regarding the War Birds and having a fly over from March Air Force Base. There was discussion regarding not being able to have a skydiver during the event. There was discussion regarding options of distributing a flower seed paper that was presented by committee volunteer, Karen. There was further discussion regarding the yard flags. There was discussion regarding having the Canyon Lake Royal Court at the event. There was discussion regarding having the Girl Scouts at the event. There was discussion regarding the Canyon Lake Market and Coldwell Banker supplying the hot dogs. There was discussion regarding CR&R providing trashcans.
