She has been a Visiting Professor at Paris 1 Sorbonne-Panthéon. The author of several monographs and more than one hundred research articles on contemporary philosophy Marshall Center Alumni. Member of Scientific Board of several journals in Russia and Scientific Redactor of the Bilingual Project Lectures of visiting Professors of Faculty of Philosophy of Lomonosov Moscow State University. Chevalier des Palmes Academiques (France, 2004). Evgeny PASHENTSEV Doctor in History (Latin American Studies). Leading researcher at the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, professor at the Chair of Philosophy of Language and Communication in Lomonosov Moscow State University. Director of the International Centre for Social and Political Studies and Consulting. Author or editor of 33 books and more than 100 academic articles published in Russian, English, Spanish, Italian, Serbian and Bulgarian languages. Honorary Research Fellow at Birmingham University (October-November 2005). Presentation of papers at more than 150 international conferences and seminars for the last 20 years in 18 countries. Areas of research: strategic communication, international security issues, perspective technologies and social development. Member of the international Advisory Board of Comunicar (Spain) and the editorial board of The Journal of Political Marketing 3

(the USA). Contributors: Giuliano BIFOLCHI PhD candidate at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. His main field of research concerns the North Caucasus and the Russian strategies to manage the region, overcome socioeconomic problems and contrast local insurgency and terrorist groups. Cofounder of the Association of Studies, Research and Internationalisation in Eurasia and Africa (ASRIE) as well as analyst in security, conflict and international relations. He holds a master s degree in Peacebuilding Management and International Relations from the Pontifical University San Bonaventura and a Master of Arts in History from the University of Rome Tor Vergata. Victor BULMER-THOMAS Associate Fellow in the United States and the Americas Programme at Chatham House, Honorary Professor at the Institute of the Americas, University College London, and Emeritus Professor of Economics at London University. From 2001 to 2006 he was the Director of Chatham House and from 1992 to 1998 he was the Director of the Institute of Latin American Studies at London University. Author or editor of 30 books. V. Bulmer-Thomas is a non-executive director of the JP Morgan Brazil Investment Trust. He has received honours from the governments of Brazil, Colombia and the United Kingdom. He is currently writing a book on the United States, to be published in 2017 by Yale University Press, entitled Empire Without a Name: Past, Present and Future of the United States. 4

Marija DJORIČ Marija Djoric was born in 1981 in Serbia. She graduated (B.A.) International relationship, M.A. Political violence and State, professional M.A. Terrorism and organized crime, at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade. She graduated with PhD at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade with thesis titled: Ideologically motivated extremism as a generator of political violence. She worked at the Faculty of Political sciences from 2006 to 2013. Currently she is an assistant professor at the European Faculty of Law and Political Sciences, and a secretary of master studies Terrorism, organized crime and security at Belgrade University. She is teaching at the Military Academy (MA Program Security Management), as well. Marija Djoric published two books (Right wing extremism and Hooliganism) and more than 40 papers in different journals. She is a member of international association: IPRA, CEEISA, RISA, ISA. Rolf CLAUBERG Doctor of Science, Professor, gives lectures at various universities on topics concerning the impact of the most advanced technologies on the economy and politics. In particular, he held lectures at the Diplomatic Academy in Moscow and the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economics and public administration. He is a member of several international professional organizations, e.g. the American Physical Society (APS), the German Physical Society (DPG), and the German Society of Information Technology within the VDE.Since 2017 he is co-founder of the Swiss company InterKulturForum GmbH, which is focused on international cultural humanitarian projects of public diplomacy. InterKulturForum GmbH organizes various thematic cultural travels dedicated to world heritage places of UNESCO. Peter LINKE Independent analyst, Berlin; graduate of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO); advisor on Soviet & Eastern European affairs to East German Prime Minister Lothar de Maiziere (1990); Eurasia analyst, Grandinger Associates Berlin (1990-1994); Research Fellow for Eurasian Security, King s College London, Department of War Studies (1994-1996); advisor on European security & integration to members of the German parliament (1999-2002); Moscow regional bureau chief of Rosa Luxemburg Foundation (2005-2012); member of the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS), the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP), the Saint-Petersburg Arctic Academy of 5

Sciences (AAN). Marco RICCERI Expert in European social and labour policies. He is acting as the general secretary of the EURISPES, a primary Italian research institute in the economic, social, territorial development. Ricceri is coordinator of the Ethic Committee of the A.E.I. European Agency of Investments, Geie, Bruxelles. He is enrolled in the list of Pool of Reviewers of the ESF-European Science Foundation, Strasbourg for European Social Policy and Industrial Relations. He is a coordinator of the European- Russian EU-RU-CM Network and co-founder of the European Research Group European Social Model (London-Bremen- Rome). He is a founding member of EAVI-European Association for Viewers Interests (Brussels), dealing with the dissemination of Media Literacy and Media Education. Ricceri was awarded the Degree Honoris Causa in European Policies by the Institute of Europe of the Russian Academy of Sciences, IE-RAS. Greg J. SIMONS Associate Professor Greg Simons is a senior researcher at the Institute for Russian and Eurasian Studies at Uppsala University and an associate researcher at ICSPSC. His research interests include: Russian mass media, crisis management communications, media and armed conflict, and the Russian Orthodox Church. He has presented these various subjects at international conferences across the globe, including in the United Kingdom, Germany, Finland, United States, Russia, Ukraine, Latvia, Poland, Sweden and Spain. Dr Simons is the author/editor of numerous refereed articles, chapters and books. 6

Marius VACARELU PhD. Political scientist and legal expert. Graduated from the Law Faculty in Bucharest; he teaches public law in the National School of Political Science and Public Administration since 2005. Member of the committee which edits the Romanian magazine GeoPolitica. Head of the The Geopolitics of the East Association which runs the website www.geopoliticaestului.ro. Author / co-author / coordinator of 18 books and more than 140 scientific articles. Frequent on Romanian televisions on geopolitics sphere. Blogger to the most important journal from Romania "Adevarul" http://adevarul.ro/blogs/marius.vacarelu. Papers were presented and published in Russia, Czech Republic, France, Poland, United Kingdom. Erik VLAEMINCK Erik Vlaeminck holds a MA in Eastern European and Slavonic Studies from KU Leuven (Belgium) and a MA in Russian and Eurasian Studies from Leiden University graduating with a Distinction in 2015. He is currently enrolled as a PhD student at the University of Edinburgh. Erik s research interests include Russian studies, various aspects of strategic communication and cultural relations. 7
