From your Agent... On January 1, 2013 I began my professional career as your Family & Consumer Science Agent in Magoffin County. I was very nervous coming into a county where I did not know a single soul, but every one of you welcomed me with open arms. Working in this county has not only been a wonderful experience, but a very rewarding experience. I have gained knowledge in unfamiliar subjects, confidence in myself as a professional, and new friendships I will forever cherish. In my three years as your Agent, I have grown to love Magoffin County as my own county. I have been blessed to have you as my volunteers, leaders, and clients. We have shared many laughs, successes, and challenges together. I am who I am as an Agent because of you. It is with great sadness to announce that I will be transferring to Floyd County as the County Extension Agent for Family & Consumer Sciences Agent on August 29, 2016. This was not an easy decision to leave Magoffin County behind, but I believe it to be the best choice for myself and my family. I will be working in my home county where my family and myself reside. Just because I am leaving Magoffin County doesn t mean I will leave you all behind. I appreciate each and everyone of you for the friendship, support, and kindness you all have given me. I will be only be 30 minutes down the road and I will always be here for questions or support. I will be returning for leader lessons, collaborative county programs, and more. Magoffin county will forever hold a special place in my heart and I will always remember the wonderful memories we ve created together. Thank you all for encouragement for me to become the best person I can be. This isn t a goodbye, but a see you soon.
