The City Council also adopted Resolution No. 18-4399 requesting San Joaquin County Registrar of Voters to conduct a Consolidated General Municipal Election on behalf of City, along with Statewide General Election to be held on date pursuant to 10403 of Elections Code, November 6, 2018. Section 4 of attached Resolution declares Sonny Dhaliwal, Paul Akinjo, Diane Lazard, Jennifer Torres- O' Callaghan as cidates elected to office. FISCAL IMP CT: Funds were included in FY 2018/ 19 Budget for cost of Election. ATTE C H M E NTS: A. RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION OF CITY THE COUNCIL OF THE OF CITY LATHROP CALIFORNIA, RECITING THE FACT OF THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD ON 6, 2018, NOVEMBER DECLARING THE RESULT AND SUCH OTHER MATTERS AS PROVIDED BY LAW WHEREAS, a General Municipal Election was held conducted in City of Lathrop, California, on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, as required by law; WHEREAS, law; by provided notice that declared votes in were time, election was precincts given were voting that in all respects officers were appointed of cast, received in form, time, manner as that election properly established; election was held conducted canvassed returns made form manner as required by provisions of Elections Code of State of California for holding of elections in general law cities; WHEREAS, San Joaquin County Registrar of Voters OfFice canvassed returns of election has certified results to this City Council, results were A"; received on December 6, 2018, attached, made a part hereof as " Exhibit WHEREAS, results of 10262, attached, City election to made Clerk City a part as Council, hereof Election City' s as " pursuant OfFicial, to has Elections certified Code Section Exhibit B"; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that City Council of City of Lathrop, California, does hereby resolve, declare, determine, order as follows: Section 1. The number of register voters in City of Lathrop was 9, 810, whole number of votes ( ballots) cast in City was 5, 042. Section 2. That number of votes given at each precinct number of votes given in City to each of persons above named for respective offices for which persons were cidates for against measure were as listed in " Exhibit A" attached. Section 4. The City Council does declare determine that Sonny Dhaliwal was elected as Mayor for full term of two years; Paul Akinjo was elected as Member of City Council for full term of four years; Diane Lazard was elected as Member of City Council for full term of four years; Jennifer Torres- O' Callaghan Dresser was elected as Member of City Council for unexpired partial term of two years. Section 5. The City Clerk shall enter on records of City Council of City a statement of result of election, showing: ( 1) 2) whole number of votes ( ballots) cast in City; ( names of persons voted for; ( 3) for what office each person was voted for; ( 4) number of votes given at each precinct to each person; ( 5) total number of votes given to each person. Said information is set forth in this Resolution documentation attached hereto by reference. Section 6. That City Clerk shall immediately make deliver to each of persons so elected a Certificate of Election signed by City Clerk aunticated; that City Clerk shall also administer to each person elected Oath of Office prescribed in Constitution of State of California shall have m subscribe to it file it in office of City Clerk.
