Citizens Hearing: Mayor DiNardo Recused Stanley Sumski- I am the owner of five building lots that were created in a subdivision back in around 2004-2005. I purchased the lots as an investment about 1-1 ½ years ago with intention of someday building on them when the market got right. I am planning on building houses on these lots now. Going over the paperwork I have seen some inconsistencies and irregularities. The subdivision was filed and my lawyer contacted your attorney about 6-7 months ago and we sat down and had a meeting with township engineer and Mr. Pino was there with my wife & lawyer. We gave all the documents we had. We are the third owners of the property. We waited for a response from your attorney and after numerous letters, emails, phone calls we haven t heard one word. Just wondering if this body has discussed it all? We met I believe in September 2013. Attorney Cucchiaro- CME the townships engineers have the documents. My understanding is that they requested that Escrow be posted to review it further. I don t think Escrow has been posted. I don t know what their status is over at CME. I did trade some telephone calls with your attorney but until the Escrow is posted because this comes out of a development application we can t move any further. Mr. Sumski- I have never received anything from CME and again it has been six months. My position as it was at the meetings I am not the developer and I am only the owner of the lots. We haven t gotten one response. Attorney Cucchiaro- I will contact CME tomorrow but my understanding is that they sent a request for Escrow but I will confirm that. James Derricks- I have been before this Committee in the past about the curbs on Stanford Drive. I submitted a history report with pictures and engineering reports dated back to 2010. The fact that the engineer stated that these curbs should be replaced. This has been ongoing and we have come to the point where it is just atrocious. Mayor DiNardo- There are no curbs left. I just spoke to Tony and you will be getting curbs and aprons this year. Mr. Derricks- This is coming from the Mayor from the top, you are saying this is definitely going to be done? Mayor DiNardo- I spent 3 ½ hours out there on Sunday with someone and he is doing all the calculations now. We will be going out to bid. You are in bad shape over there. We knew that it is just that we wanted to put a couple of things in place. Mr. Derricks- Thank you. I appreciate your help.
Jerry Sacher- Thank you it has been a number of years we have been here with the curbs and I knew the town didn t have the money at the time when we first came in. I saw something in the paper that the town was de-brushing some creeks in town. Mayor DiNardo- The county is doing it. Mr. Sacher- I think there is a lot of debris in the creek. Do I contact the County or do they walk the creeks? They can t touch them by law but they can take the debris out of them correct? Dennis Pino, Administrator- The County is strategically cleaning certain creeks and areas to prevent further flooding in those kinds of conditions. If there is a specific issue at your address or 2-3 up the block just give me the addresses right after the meeting. Mr. Sacher- On the occasion that I go over the recycling center they used to have some sort of a shed that the men used to sit in I haven t seen them sitting in there I see them sitting in trucks for eight hours at a time. Mayor DiNardo- We are in the process of getting some livable conditions. We are cleaning the yard up and moving some things around. Daryl Gotilla- Thank you for moving on our lack of curbs. Has any property been sold over by Costco? Mayor DiNardo- No action has been taken as of yet. Charles Hoffman- I would appreciate it if the construction office and/or the township engineer could keep the pressure on that demolition site next to Dunkin Donuts. Dennis Pino, Administrator- It looks like the contractor is not there anymore. It may have been since the snow hit he left to go do other types of work. I will look into that. Mayor DiNardo- We will reach out to him. Mr. Hoffman- Do you have a traffic officer? Chief Broderick No not yet. Mr. Hoffman- At the end of the road there is a posted speed limit but every one of the bump signs has a 25 MPH sign below it. Is that mandatory? Get rid of it. I have spoken more than once to the BRSA Board of Commissioners about trying to keep their truck traffic that is related directly to them off of the piece of Florence Avenue when it was 4 tons. I brought it up to their meeting last night because they are going out for an RFP for trash removal. I addressed them again to please make sure the contract states that he cannot use that part of Florence that he has to use Poole Avenue. Mayor DiNardo- I will stay on top of that for you.
