Jacque spoke of her own personal experience as a victim of Domestic Violence, of how her then organisation supported her in breaking the cyble, and how this experience inspired her to start working with others to educate others about Domestic Violence and the far-reaching impact that this has in the community. Her current role recognises that organisational culture is built from the top down, and therefore she aims to engage our business leaders to educate them on how they might encourage their staff to break the silence around domestic violence. 03 Spotlight On... Providing Clean Water A nation-wide Rotary water project in Lebanon has delivered a surprising outcome in terms of uniting leaders across the country. The project, which commenced in 2011, aims to provide schools across the country with new tanks and water filters. The focus on providing this basic human right to the country's children has also seen leaders promote peace across the country. Given the diversity of religion, culture and political beliefs across the country, and the history of violence in Lebanon, this is an outstanding example of what can be achieved when we step outside ourselves to look at the bigger picture. WHS Reminders - stay safe! This is so dangerous! You should never drink Alcohol in the pool!
