Project: youth entrepreneurship, public-private partnerships P R O G R A M C O M M U N I T Y C I T I Z E N S H I P A c t i v i t y 2. M e a s u r e 2.-Support for projects initiated by civil society organizations Youth Entrepreneurship Entrepreneurship is the crucial point for the socio-economic development of every country. Entrepreneurship is particularly important for Serbia and the countries surrounding it, where the percentage of unemployed is high, especially among youth. We must empower young people to consider entrepreneurship as the opportunity to obtain good lives for themselves and their future families as well. Promotion of the entrepreneurial culture and entrepreneurial way of thinking are the part of strategic documents and policies of the major countries of European Union and our country as well. Characteristics of the entrepreneurial spirit creativity, open-mindedness for innovations and difference, readiness to take risk and continual personal development are qualities that we as a society should cherish and encourage. Support to Civil Societe Civil society is the crucial element of the democratic public life. It's active participation in the process of social and economical reform processes on Western Balkan strengthens the democracy and general socio-economic development. Despite the significant and positive improvements, civil society organizations still need support and trainings to adjust to actual circumstances and active participation in creating and implementation of local politics. Civil society represents vast resource in developing process. By improving their capacities, using best practices from developed democratic societies, also by raising the awareness about the importance of active participation of civil society in all the domains of public life, we contribute to overall development of our society in European integration processes.
