Motion) Max Benally Second) Keevin Redhouse Vote: 24-0-5 Presenting the Resolution. With the new administration, how are the effects of the Trump Administration affecting Navajo education budgets? There are many challenges to Navajo education. All the Navajo schools being considered for the 'said' funding were encouraged to join together to advocate as one interest group to avoid the current situation, however, the schools did not follow recommendation. ****Future Action: Consider the creation of a resolution that will address Navajo Nation education**** The schools were placed against each, where all the schools are individually competing. Asking for chapter resolution of support for the current urgency. Chuska Regional Council needs to come back together to address such issues and other chapter group initiatives.
