No.: CUJ/Advt./2018-19/01 Date: 03/05/2018 Advertisement for Hiring of Consultant (Civil Works/ Infrastructure Development) (CUJ), an autonomous body established under the Central Universities Act, 2009 intends to hire services of a consultant on contractual basis. The educational qualifications and other details are given here under: Educational Qualifications: B.E./ B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering/ Construction Technology OR B.Arch. from recognised University. Experience: A retired Chief Engineer level official who has served in CPWD / SPWD / RITES / NBCC or in other reputed Govt./Private organisations and have rendered services of 10 years at different positions. Desirable: Experience in building construction and in Formulation/Implementation /Construction of academic / administrative buildings infrastructures preferably in educational organizations and allied sectors. Remuneration: Fixed remuneration ranging from Rs. 40,000-50,000/- per month depending upon suitability. No other allowances shall be payable. Period of engagement: The initial hiring shall be for a period of one year which may be extended subject to requirement and satisfactory performance. General Terms and Conditions: 1. Engagement of Consultant will be on full time basis and his/her place of work will be Ranchi. 2. Age limit: not more than 65 years as on the last date of receipt of the application form. 3. The experience and age will be counted as on the last date of receipt of the application form. 4. Documents to prove Qualification, Experience, Age etc. have to be produced in original as and when called for interview. 5. In case of false or insufficient information / lack of proof to ascertain the eligibility of the applicant, their candidature will summarily be rejected at any stage of the selection process. 6. Candidates are informed that mere submission of applications shall not give them any right to be called for interview / selection. The contract can be terminated by either side by giving notice for a period of one month or one month s fixed remuneration in lieu thereof without assigning any reason. 10. The contract can be terminated without notice by the competent authority, if at any time the conduct, performance, activities of the individual are found detrimental to the interests of the University. 11.
