Introductions of Governors/Guests were made.

RE OPENING COMMENTS Joe reviewed the following: Members present at the Governors meeting will now sign the waiver sheet. The National Sponsorship reviewed at the St. Louis meeting that GM will go after anyone using the C7 logo. You need written permission from GM to use the logo. NCCC will not be able to help you if GM comes after you. Thank you to Clyde Mooney and his club, and to Perry Cisney for staffing the National Kidney Foundation tent at Corvettes at Carlisle. Joe stressed to the Governors to respond to the meeting invite. Some governors stated they did not receive the doodle email and did not receive Joe s follow up email. National Business Manager spoke about NCCC insurance. Club officers are covered. Club Trailers are not covered during transit. It is the responsibility of the drivers insurance. Large Corporations are trying to shift the liability coverage from themselves. The Business Manager will not accept the Primary Non Contributory Riders. Deadline for submission of articles to Blue Bars is 11/30/13. There will be elections for the National Secretary, VP Comp, Business Mgr. and Sargent of Arms. Walt Jenkins and Dale Sanderson will be running for VP Comp. Brian suggested supporting Dale Sanderson. Voting for the By Law Changes and Officers will be coming up next month and will be done electronically. Joe reviewed some of the By Law changes. You can view the proposed changes on the National website. The 2015 Convention will be on the voting ballot. Information on the 2015 Convention in the Pocono s is also on the National Website to view. There will be tabulation available and Joe will be checking it. Joe reviewed the Preview of Comments on ER Waivers. NCCC is providing 3 rd party liability insurance. Waivers must be signed the day of the event. Joe will be asking ER Clubs to provide information about their club for a club spotlight in the ER article in Blue Bars. Don Emmons from G burg was asked to provide information for the next issue. APPROVAL OF MEETING MINUTES Michele Cantelmo had distributed the minutes from the May 2013 meeting via email to East Region Governors. Minutes from this meeting will be distributed via email to all East Region Governors. Michele asked for a motion to approve the minutes, moved by Ron Hamrah, seconded by Andreaj Balanc. Motion was passed to accept the May 2013 Meeting Minutes. READING AND APPROVAL OF TREASURER S REPORT Rocky Alleshouse reported the net worth of the East Region is $33,368.32. The Morgan Stanley account balance is $23,249.26. The Savings account balance is $5,762.95. The Checking account balance is $4356.11. Rocky reviewed the handouts. Rocky suggested changing companies from Morgan Stanley to a money market account at a bank where

more interest can be earned. All agreed. Rocky asked for a motion to approve the treasurer s report. Motion was passed to accept the Treasurer s Report. REGIONAL COMPETITION DIRECTOR S REPORT Highlights of Brian s Report are as follows: Reviewed proposed rule book changes. Reviewed Speed Events Class A & B, which will be combined A/B. Reviewed Speed Events Class C & D, which will be combined C/D. Points were reviewed. Pick your clubs events for 2014. Try to work out conflicts prior to the December meeting. Use the same calendar program that was used in the past. You will have 10 National and 4 Regional. Calendar will close Thanksgiving Day. Jeff will block off dates that cannot be used. Trophy Fund will need to be paid by the December Governors Meeting. Trophy Fund is an assessment of number of workers and entrants for your events for the year. Any additional events your club conducts during October & November must be added to the current total of the trophy fund. PLEASE SEE COMPETITION REPORT FOR COMPLETE DETAILS REGIONAL MEMBERSHIP DIRECTOR S REPORT Steve reviewed the following: Reviewed the Membership Report. NCCC has 18440 members. East Region has 2331 members. ER has three new clubs. Governor Gregory Sharpe spoke about the Living the Dream Corvette Club. Governor John Cantelmo spoke about the High Point Cruisers. Governor John Davis from Corvette Dreams Corvette Club was not present. Don t call the 2014 C7. Call it the Stingray. Reviewed 2014 NCCC Renewal Instructions. The program will open 10-12-13 and will close 11/30/13. Northern Delaware Corvette Club will be coming back to ER. The design of the new membership card will be a 1959 car. Charity report should be sent to the National Director of Charities. PLEASE SEE RMD ATTACHMENTS COMMITTEE REPORTS 2015 NCCC CONVENTION Dave Walter reviewed the following: A presentation was made at the National meeting and 2015 convention site will be put on the voting ballot. The date of the convention will be August 22 nd to the 27 th, 2015. The Business Manager and Past Convention Chairman did a tour. Split Rock is a rustic, clean, nice resort.

Dave has contacted Pocono Raceway for dates to perform a practice session with a HPDE on a Saturday in 2014. Convention Logo is currently being worked on. ER TEEN DRIVING SCHOOL REPORT Bill Sangrey reported the following: LCCC: Schedule for TDS on September 29 th & 30. Northern Virginia has TDS scheduled for November 23 rd. They will be using the same facility as the spring TDS. Volunteers are needed. Revolution CC: Looking for a location. BACC: Working on date for next year. NATIONAL CORVETTE MUSEUM AMBASSADOR REPORT John Cantelmo showed a power point presentation and reported the following: Encouraged Governors & Members to visit the museum. You can stay in touch with NCM by signing up for ENews, Newsletter, and NCM webcam. Reviewed the process on becoming an Ambassador. Motor Sport Park track is making progress and taking shape. NCM is accepting dates for use of the track. An exhibit of Motorcycles are on display. In conjunction with the NCCC Convention in Bowling Green in June, there was the 60 th Anniversary of the Corvette celebration at the National Corvette Museum at the same time. Michele/John Cantelmo and Joe/Michele Vasta worked a full day at the museum. They attended the 60 th Birthday Party of the corvette where Assembly Plant Manager put on a power point showing changes made to the assembly plant. C7 s were also on display. Additional East Region members joined them for presentation of the East Region check to Roc for the one acre. Ron Hamrah was present for the ground breaking for the Motorsport Park. Ron is the 2014 Mid Atlantic Caravan Captain to Bowling Green for NCM 20 th Anniversary. Contact Ron for information if interested in attending the NCM 20 th Anniversary. ER-WEBMASTER REPORT Jeff Port reviewed the following information: Jeff spoke about the new hosting provider. He is in the process of transferring all information to the new site. The region can host your club website for free. For a fee of $250, Jeff can design the website for you. You will have to pay the yearly domain cost. Jeff is working on the Trophy Fund Data Base for the website. ER Vette Works should be the main communication tool for governors. It is a cleaner way to communicate. This may be a possible fix for the email issues we have been experiencing. All Governors need to be part of this group. You can post

pictures, events and messages. We can use ER Vette Works for invite and RSVP for the Governor Meetings and Breakfast. We will do doodle and vette works for the December meeting. Old Business: By Laws/Standing Rules No report. Competition Software Brian reviewed the software and data entering results. There is an error if there are any yellow highlights. Do not send results until corrected, none of the fields should contain any yellow highlights. Travel points were reviewed. If you are having a problem, do a screen print and send to Joe and Brian. ER Logo Andy passed around 4 preliminary logo s and asked governors to write comments on each logo sheet. It was narrowed down to two logo s. Andy will present the two logo s at the December meeting with the suggested changes. New Business: Nominating Committee Bill Sangrey, Clyde Mooney and Pete Klein were on the nominating committee. Bill announced the nominees for officers which will be voted on at the December meeting. RE-Joe Vasta, RCD-Brian Gallagher, RMD-Andy Alleshouse, Secretary-Michele Cantelmo, Treasurer-Rocky Alleshouse. The slate of officers will be for 2014 & 2015. There were no additional nominees from the floor. A motion was moved by Denny and second by Ron. All were in favor, none opposed. Meeting Site Selection for 2014-2015 Joe spoke about renewing the contract with Holiday Inn for 2014/2015. The price for breakfast went up from $11.00 to $12.00. Everything else remained the same. Jeff asked if a PA system can be used for future meetings. Joe will look into this. Governors will vote on this location at the December meeting. Other Business: Joe led a discussion on how to get the younger generation involved. How can we reach out to the younger group? It was suggested to get the enthusiasts involved. Pete Klein spoke about what his club did with Camaro s. A committee was formed to see where we can go with this. CLOSING COMMENTS Andreaj Balanc was the 50/50 winner of $30.50.
