Addition to Mary Archer s longevity pay beginning 23 rd consecutive year in Northvale, retroactive to September 1, 2012 2. Addition to Linda Salta s longevity pay beginning 23 rd consecutive year in Northvale, retroactive to September 1, 2012. 3. Approve the testing of 25 ESL students (State requirement). General Fund warrants: February Bill List $234,292.42 February Payroll $475,288.38 Milk Fund warrant: February Milk $ 1,031.45 2. Report of the Board Secretary and Report of the Treasurer for the month ending January 31, ; and Further, that in compliance with NJAC 6A:23-2.11(c) 4, the Northvale School District Board of Education certifies that no major account or fund has been over-expended and that sufficient funds are available to meet the district s financial obligations for the remainder of the fiscal year. 3. Transfer of funds between budgetary line items for January. 4. The final payment request #5 to Pearl River Plumbing Heating & Electric Inc. of Pear River, NJ in the amount of $11,028.07 as per the recommendation from Energy for America, Project Manager for the Middle School (NH) Unit Ventilator Replacement. 5. Special Education Medicaid Initiative (SEMI) Program WHEREAS, NJAC 6A:23A-5.3 provides that a school district may request a waiver of compliance with respect to the district's participation in the Special Education Medicaid Initiative (SEMI) Program for the -14, and WHEREAS, the Northvale Public School District Board of Education desires to apply for this waiver due to the fact that it projects having fewer than 40 Medicaid eligible classified students and the participation in SEMI would not provide a cost benefit to the district based on the projection of the district's available SEMI reimbursement for the -14 budget year. 4
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Northvale Public School District Board of Education hereby authorizes the Chief School Administrator to submit to the Executive County Superintendent of Schools in the County of Bergen an appropriate waiver of the requirements of NJAC 6A23A-5.3 for the -14 school year. 6. The contract with Realtime Information Technology, Inc. Toms River, NJ to provide student information services in the area of Internet Based Special Education Management/IEP Module system through December 31, in the amount of $3,250.00.
