This program will float the panels on the lagoon and save the borough about $75,000 - $100,000 per year in electric. They will not harm the area and there will still be enough space for fishing. The engineer stated that he would meet with the dept. of public works and there is an issue with the maintenance of that roadway having to do with the condition of the paving and the elevation of the curb. He would meet with the DPW and go over how that could be addressed.
