DISCUSSION: None RESOLUTION NUMBER 2016-253 TAKING FROM THE TABLE, REJECTING PROPOSALS AND RE-ORDERING FOR SENIOR SERVICES PROGRAMS, HOMEMAKER AND PERSONAL CARE, RFP #5-16 ACDJFS WHEREAS, on August 30, 2016 by Resolution No. 2016-219, proposals were received for Homemaker and Personal Care Services, RFP #1-16, as follows:

RFP# 1-16 Homemaker Services It is the recommendation of the Senior Services Levy Advisory Board to not award a subgrant agreement to the following providers for Homemaker Services. Provider Amount Unit rate Ashtabula Regional Home Health Services $0 $0 Country Neighbor Program, Inc. $0 $0 Total: $0 WHEREAS, it has been determined to not proceed with the award for the Homemaker and Personal Care component of the RFP in accordance with the caveat outlined in the proposal, which states the County is under no obligation to award a contract/subgrant agreement as a result of this RFP and reserves the right to not select any Applicant; now THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Board of Commissioners of Ashtabula County, Ohio, that the proposals received for the Homemaker and Personal Care for Seniors Programs be rejected and the Homemaker and Personal Care be re-ordered and received on October 26, 2016 at 3:00p.m. RESOLUTION NUMBER 2016-254 APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO HEALTH AND EMPLOYMENT RELATED TRANSPORTATION CONTRACTS WITH CITY TAXICAB & TRANSFER COMPANY, INC., CONTRACT NO. S. 16-3006-ERT AND 16-3005-HRT WHEREAS, Patrick Arcaro, Director of the Ashtabula County Department of Job & Family Services has presented the following Contract Amendments for the approval of the Board, to-wit: EMPLOYMENT RELATED: PROVIDER: CITY TAXICAB & TRANSFER CO. INC., 1753 W. Prospect Rd., Ashtabula Original Contract Date: November 1, 2015 Contract No. 16-3006-ERT Amendment No. 1- Contract amendment to change termination date and funding for employment related transportation services. Amendment: Article 3 Contract Period: change termination date from 9/30/16 to 9/30/17 Article 4 Availability of Funds: Increase funds for FY2016 in the amount of $112,000.00 Total available funds increases from $100,000 to $212,000

911 PSAP s/equipment future Technical Committee Standards- meeting to formalize to move forward. He has certain people that should be on the technical committee. The law states who is to be on the committee. There is a technical committee that is outlined in the Ohio Revised Code. Coast Guard- met yesterday. There was a lot of security, stated it was for proficiency and efficiency. This will be a seasonal coast guard station at the end of 2017, could be 4 months or longer. It has already been approved by Washington. They are sending Congressional notifications out. A statement was made when the water gets hard, they will not be there.
