There has been some confusion in the past about which year to award these and we feel this would clear up that confusion. Communication Tools: Group Me and DKG App Several weeks ago, I sent out a request for all Beta Lambda members to join GroupMe. GroupMe is an app that you put on your phone that allows anyone in a group to communicate via text to other members of that group. I have several groups using GroupMe and it is very convenient and easier to use than email. You download the app to your phone via the Apple App store or Google Play, depending on what type of phone you have, choose the group with which you have received an invitation, and you are ready to go. Using the app will help members who have smartphones but who don t use email or other methods of communication. Once you have set up GroupMe on your phone, you can go to groupme.com on your computer and read the conversations there. I will be demonstrating GroupMe at the March meeting and I hope this will help everyone realize that GroupMe is a valuable communication tool to use. Another communication tool that I will demonstrate is the Delta Kappa Gamma 365 mobile app. It replaces the old DKG app. Madeline Buchanan Communications Chairperson
