Extra Curricular 1. CASEY R. BIALEK, as an assistant field hockey coach effective immediately. B. Request for Leave of Absence Without Pay (Roll Call Vote) It is recommended the following request for leave of absence without pay be approved: 1. JENNIFER L. REBERT, guidance counselor at Red Lion Area Senior High School, from October 10, 2012 through November 9, 2012. C. Appointments (Roll Call Vote) It is recommended the following appointments be approved: Support Staff 1. JOHN M. GRIFFIN, 3528 Lineboro Road, Manchester, MD 21102, as a parttime cafeteria worker, 3 ½ hours per day during the school term, at the rate established for the position effective May 18, 2012. This is due to the resignation of Christine Stone. Extra Curricular 1. CHARLES L. MACGREGOR, 714 Linden Avenue, Hanover, PA 17331, as an unpaid athletic director intern effective May 21, 2012. 2. RICHARD A. TORBERT, JR., 705 Zion Church Road, Red Lion, PA 17356, as JV girls volleyball coach at the rate established for the position effective May 18, 2012 through the end of the 2012-2013 school year.

School Board Treasurer It is recommended that YVONNE D. CLUTTER, Staff Accountant, be appointed as School Board Treasurer from July 1, 2012, through June 30, 2013. VIII. Conference Attendance Requests (Roll Call Vote) There are none. IX. Building and Grounds Usages (Motion Required) A. North Hopewell-Winterstown Elementary School P.T.O. requests permission to use the North Hopewell-Winterstown Elementary School All-Purpose Room and lobby on Tuesday, May 29, 2012, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. for a fundraiser pick-up. A custodian will be on duty for security purposes. B. Red Lion Educational Support Professionals Association requests permission to use the Edgar Moore Library on Sunday, June 10, 2012, from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. for a meeting. Mrs. Donna Knaub will be responsible for building security. C. Project Stay In School requests permission to use the Red Lion Area Junior High School Room #100, Computer Lab, main gymnasium, and field on Mondays through Thursdays, beginning June 11 to July 19, 2012, (no classes during the 4 th of July week) from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for summer camp. A custodian will be on duty for security purposes. D. Red Lion Baseball Booster Club requests permission to use Horn Field on Monday, June 11 through June 15, 2012, from 12 Noon to 5:00 p.m. and 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. for camp, and Monday, June 18, 2012, from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. Mr. Darren Hake will be responsible for field security. E. Red Lion Varsity Softball Booster Club requests permission to use the Red Lion Area Senior High School softball and field hockey fields on Monday through Friday, June 18 to June 22, 2012, from 8:00 a.m. to 12 Noon for softball camp. F. Windsor Township Recreation Commission requests permission to use the Larry J. Macaluso Elementary School fields on Mondays through Fridays, June 12 to August 2, 2012, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. for tee-ball; the Pleasant View Elementary School fields on Monday through Friday, July 9 to 13, 2012, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. for sports squirts program and Mondays through Fridays, August 20 to October 19, 2012, from 5:45 to 7:45 p.m. for soccer practices and games. G. The Leo Club requests permission to use the Athletic Department Conference Room on June 28, July 23, September 13, October 11, November 8, December 13, 2012, January 10, February 28, April 11, May 9, June 13, and July 11, 7, 22, 2013, from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. for meetings. A custodian and / or Mr. Ronald Fitzkee will be responsible for building security.

H. Red Lion Class of 1977 requests permission to use the Red Lion Area Senior High School and football field on Friday, August 17, 2012, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. for a tour. Mr. Jeffrey Bryan will be responsible for building security. I. Red Lion Area Senior High School Adult Education requests permission to use the Mazie Gable Elementary School Gymnasium on Thursdays, September 13 to November 1, 2012, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. (Date NOT available: November 8, 2012), for adult education classes, and Wednesday, September 12, 2012, from 6:00 to 9:30 p.m. for a class. A custodian will be on duty for security purposes. J. Emergency Health Services Federation requests permission to use the Clearview Elementary School classrooms (17) and cafeteria on Saturdays, January 19, 26, February 9, 23, March 9, 23, May 18, June 1, 15, 29, July 13, August 10, 24, September 21, November 16, and December 14, 2012, from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for testing for state certification. There will be a charge of $45 per hour for custodial services in relation to this usage. K. Red Lion Ministerium requests permission to use the Red Lion Area Senior High School Auditorium on Monday, June 4, 2012, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. for Baccalaureate. A custodian will be on duty for security purposes. L. Windsor Manor Elementary School and Locust Grove Elementary School P.T.O. s request permission to use the Red Lion Area Senior High School Fitzkee Center, Commons Area, locker rooms, sound system, ticket booth and concession stand on Monday, November 19, 2012, from 4:30 to 10:00 p.m. for a Harlem Wizards vs. the Red Lion faculty and P.T.O. s basketball game. A custodian will be on duty for security purposes. X. Other Business A. Approval of Senior High School Course Proposal for 2012-2013 (Roll Call Vote) It is recommended the following senior high school course proposal for 2012-2013 be approved: 1. Exceptionalities and Service Learning B. Approval of Resolution of Recognition BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of School Directors of Red Lion Area School District hereby recognize the Larry J. Macaluso Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization as a non-profit organization, which is established to promote and encourage participation and support activities within the school district.
