ALASKA STATE LEGISLATURE TWENTY-SECOND LEGISLATURE -- FIRST SESSION Juneau, Alaska Wednesday March 14, 2001 Sixty-sixth Day Pursuant to adjournment the Senate was called to order by President Halford at 11:25 a.m. The roll showed nineteen members present. Senator Lincoln was excused from a call of the Senate. The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, Dr. Walter Soboleff. Senator Hoffman moved and asked unanimous consent that the prayer be spread. Without objection, it was so ordered. Eternal God of the Universe, in whose image we are created, we are Your miracle of life. Thy wisdom has reached us through prophets of yesteryear, Micah speaking: "He hath showed thee what is good and what doth the Lord require of thee, to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with Thy God." We thank Thee for these gems of great magnitude to enhance life's quality for the rest of the journey. Amen. Senator Therriault led the Senate in the Pledge of Allegiance. Senator Leman moved and asked unanimous consent that the bill be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading and placed on final passage. Without objection, it was so ordered.
