1207 NINETY-SIXTH DAY Senate Chamber, Columbus, Ohio Thursday, September 28, 2017, 11:00 o'clock a.m. The Senate met pursuant to adjournment. Pursuant to Senate Rule No. 3, the Clerk called the Senate to order. Senator Hite was selected to preside according to the rule. The journal of the last legislative day was read and approved. INTRODUCTION AND FIRST CONSIDERATION OF BILLS The following bills were introduced and considered for the first time: S. B. No. 203 - Senator Dolan. Cosponsors: Senators Sykes, Eklund. To amend sections 718.02 and 718.82 of the Revised Code to reinstate the municipal income tax "throw-back rule" used in apportioning business income among municipalities. S. B. No. 204 - Senator Dolan. Cosponsors: Senators Coley, Eklund, Huffman, Lehner. To amend sections 3505.03, 3505.04, and 3513.13 of the Revised Code to require uncontested races to appear at the end of an election ballot. S. B. No. 205 - Senator Dolan. Cosponsors: Senators Eklund, Schiavoni. To amend sections 1701.01, 1701.03, 1701.04, 1701.05, 1701.38, 1701.59, 1701.591, and 1701.94 and to enact section 1701.96 of the Revised Code to allow a corporation to become a benefit corporation. OFFERING OF RESOLUTIONS Pursuant to Senate Rule No. 54, the following resolution was offered: S. R. No. 297 - Senator Coley. In memory of Richard G. Hart. The question being, "Shall the resolution listed under the President's prerogative be adopted?" So the resolution was adopted. COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE GOVERNOR

Passias, Ph.D, from Dublin, Franklin County, Ohio, as a Member of the Ohio Peace Officer Training Commission for a new term beginning September 25, 2017 and ending at the close of business September 20, 2020, replacing Emily J.
