training course Youth Unemployment: Working on Work Armenian Progressive Youth 10.5. - 18.5. 2013 Dilijan, Armenia This project has been funded with support from the European Commission. This communication reflects the views only of the author, and the Commission cannot be held responsible for any use which may be made of the information contained therein.

Training Course will gather 30 youth workers and young leaders from different organizations based in EU and EECA. We aim to tackle youth unemployment issue and equip youth workers with knowledge and skills, which will allow them to easily involve young people in the labor market. During the 7 days of the TC, youth workers from different countries will share opinions and ideas on youth unemployment as well as will get practical skills from professional trainers. They will be involved in various activities and will learn CV and Motivation Letter writing techniques, Hints to pass a Job Interview, Working with E-Job Databases, how to use Volunteerism as a way to the labor market, what is YouthPass, etc. After coming back home, they ll be responsible to transfer their knowledge to young people involved in their organizations or young people from local schools and universities in order to reach more young people and multiply the effect of the TC. Training Course will stimulate young people s spirit of initiative, creativity, entrepreneurship and employability through theoretical input from ex- Summary of the Project perts and participants themselves. TC will improve the qualification of young people and will increase their chances to find a job and become more competitive in the labor market. The main objectives of the project are: - to reflect on unemployment situation of youth in Europe. - to train youth workers and develop their skills and knowledge in this field, - to promote youth s involvement in voluntary work, - to encourage the creation of future projects within Youth in Action Programme, which will target unemployed youngsters.

Venue & Dates The training program will last 7 days (excluding arrival and departure days) in Dilijan (Tavush region), Armenia. It is located in the northern Armenian province of Tavush. It will be a perfect space for all participants to work in a healthy environment and feel them closer to nature, far from the city noise. As the rate of migration and unemployment in Dilijan city is very high, participants will have a chance to make a research about situation in the city and interview local unemployed people. As the city is really small, it s very calm and safe. The project is starting on 10. May (arrival day) and finishing on 18. May (departure day). Language The language of the course will be English. Participants should be able to communicate in English. Participant s fee for this TC is 30. Participation Fee
