www.artassociationinroxbury.org April 2018 Our March presentation by our very own Mike Dzombia was terrific. He explained how he builds floating frames for oil or acrylic paintings, his original design not only saves money over traditional framing but they look really great too. He also showed us how he paints lifelike foliage. By mixing a few different colors he created an array of greens and earthtones of all different values which were then used to build depth into the painting. Along with the demo came a lot of great information on sealing paintings, the uses of many different tools and analysis of different paint brands. It was a very informative demo. Board/Trustees Meeting General Meeting begins at 7:15 PM Roxbury Senior Center, 72 Eyland Avenue, Succasunna NJ Danielle Mick will be doing our April demonstration on abstract painting.
