Sheriff s Report June 08, 2018 Randolph County Sheriff Mark Nichols reports the following incidents, reports, investigations and arrests. On June 1 st, a deputy was dispatched to a location on Highway B in reference to several cattle in the roadway. The deputy patrolled the area without locating any cattle out of confinement. No further action taken. On June 1 st, a deputy was dispatched to a location on Highway BB in reference to a deer being caught in a fence. The deputy located the animal however it had died. The deputy removed the deer from the fence. On June 1 st, a deputy was dispatched to a residence in Jacksonville in reference to suspicious activity. The complainant reported that she heard a loud noise and thought someone was attempting to gain entry into her residence. The deputy searched the area without locating anyone. On June 2 nd, a deputy was dispatched to a location on Highway 24, east of Highway YY in reference to two horses near the Highway. Upon arrival the animals were located. The horses were secured in a pen. Contact was made with the owner and advised. On June 2 nd, a deputy was dispatched to a residence on County Road 2355 in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, the deputy met with both parties. Both subjects advised that they were involved in a verbal argument. The male subject agreed to stay with a friend until the situation cooled down. The deputy provided the male subject with a ride to the friend s residence. On June 2 nd, a deputy was dispatched to a Huntsville business in reference to an alarm sounding. The deputy checked the business, finding it secure and undisturbed. On June 3 rd, a deputy was dispatched to a residence on County Road 2520 in reference to a residential alarm sounding. Upon arrival, the deputy checked the residence and outbuildings, finding them secure and undisturbed.
On June 3 rd, a deputy was dispatched to a residence on County Road 1223 in reference to keeping the peace while one party retrieved personal property from the residence. The property was retrieved without incident. On June 3 rd, a deputy was dispatched to the intersection of County Roads 2250 and 2265 in reference to assisting the Missouri State Highway Patrol with traffic control at the scene of a motor vehicle accident. The deputy remained on scene until the investigation was complete and area cleared. On June 3 rd, a deputy was dispatched to a location on Highway A in reference to a deceased deer lying on the Highway. The deputy located the deer and removed it from the roadway. On June 5 th, a deputy received a theft report. The complainant reported that someone removed the license plates off of his vehicle. The stolen plates have been entered into MULES. No further action taken. On June 5 th, deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Highways 63 and K to assist the Missouri State Highway Patrol with traffic control at the scene of a crash involving a semitractor trailer and log truck. The deputies remained on scene until the investigation was complete and the area cleared. On June 5 th, a deputy was dispatched to a residence on County Road 2020 in reference to a suspicious incident. The complainant reported that a white van pulled into her driveway then backed out and departed. The deputy located the vehicle and inquired with the driver of his business. The driver advised that he was surveying and attempting to locate a survey pin. The subject provided the deputy with his credentials. On June 5 th, a deputy with the assistance of the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a domestic assault in Jacksonville. Upon arrival, the deputy met with the victim who reported that her boyfriend assaulted her by slamming a car door into her leg. The suspect departed the scene prior to the arrival of the officers. The report has been forwarded to the Randolph County Prosecuting Attorney for review and formal action. On June 6 th, a deputy responded to a residence on County Road 1500 in reference to an individual who was trespassing. Upon arrival, the deputy met with the complainant who reported that the suspect departed the residence prior to the arrival of the deputy. No further action was requested. On June 6 th, a deputy was dispatched to MRMC-ER in reference to a dog bite. The deputy met with the victim who reported that he was at a friend s residence and entered the house to wash his hands when he startled the friend s dog. The dog bit the victim on the hand. Contact was
made with the owner of the animal and advised to quarantine the animal for a 10-day observation period. A copy of the report has been forwarded to the Randolph County Health Department. On June 7 th, a deputy was dispatched to a residence on County Road 1178 in reference to a burglary. The complainant reported that someone entered his residence and stole a Ruger 40 caliber handgun, a Hi-Point 9mm handgun, a Heritage 22 caliber revolver, a JTS semi-automatic 12-gauge shotgun, a Sight Mark optic sight, a Samsung tablet and a Sony PlayStation 4 with various games. The investigation continues. On June 1 st, Jonathan Paul Stump of Moberly was served a Randolph County warrant on a class E felony charge of domestic assault 3 rd degree and two class E felony charges of harassment 1 st degree. Bond set at $7,500 cash only. Stump remains in the Randolph County Jail in lieu of the required bond. On June 3 rd, Daniel Austin Farris of Moberly was served a Randolph County warrant for failure to appear on a class D misdemeanor charge of operated vehicle on highway without a valid license 1 st offense. Bond set at $500 cash only. Farris posted the required bond and released. On June 4 th, Kevin Scott Johnson of Drexel, MO was served a Randolph County warrant for failure to appear on a class D misdemeanor charge of owner operated motor vehicle without maintaining financial responsibility 1 st offense. Bond set at $150 cash only. Johnson posted the required bond and released. On June 4 th, Laverne Boydston of Moberly was served a City of Moberly warrant for failure to appear on an ordinance violation of operated vehicle on highway without valid or no license. Bond set at $125 cash only. Boydston was released on her own recognizance by the court. On June 4 th, Kameron K Lynn Evans of Moberly was served a Randolph County warrant on a class D felony charge of forgery and a class D felony charge of stealing controlled substance/meth manufacturing material. Bond set at $5,000 cash or surety. Evans posted the required bond and released. On June 4 th, Jonathon Michael Farmer of rural Moberly was served a Randolph County warrant on a class E felony charge of leaving the scene of an accident property damage exceeding $1000 and a class E felony charge of driving while revoked/suspended. Bond set at $5,000 cash or surety. Farmer posted the required bond and released.
On June 4 th, Christopher Edward Hosmer of Moberly was served a Randolph County warrant for failure to appear on two class A misdemeanor charges of violation of order of protection for adult. Bond set at $200 cash only. Hosmer posted the required bond and released. On June 4 th, Krystal Ann Ivie of rural Huntsville was served a Randolph County warrant on a class E felony charge of passing bad checks. Bond set at $2,500 surety, 10% cash allowed. Ivie posted the required bond and released. On June 4 th, Gregory A. Clay of Columbia was served a Randolph County warrant for failure to appear on a class D misdemeanor charge of operate vehicle on highway without a valid license 1 st offense. Bond set at $500 cash only. Clay posted the required bond and released. On June 4 th, Richard Dean Minnis of Moberly was served a Randolph County warrant on a class E felony charge of driving while revoked/suspended. Bond set at $2,000 cash or surety. Minnis posted the required bond and released. On June 4 th, Julie Marie Martin a/k/a Julie M. Brooks of rural Moberly was served a Randolph County warrant for failure to appear on a class A misdemeanor charge of exceeded the posted speed limit by 11 to 15 miles per hour. On June 4 th, Bryson Lee Robinson of Moberly was served a Randolph County warrant on a class D felony charge of domestic assault 1 st degree. Bond set at $5,000 cash or surety, 10% cash allowed. Robinson posted the required bond and released. On June 4 th, John L. Terry of rural Clifton Hill was served a Randolph County warrant on a class E felony charge of harassment 1 st degree. Bond set at $2,500 cash or surety. Terry remains in the Randolph County Jail in lieu of the required bond. On June 4 th, Billy Wayne May of Moberly was served a Randolph County warrant on two class D felony charges of abuse or neglect of a child no sexual contact. Bond set at $7,500 cash or surety. May posted the required bond and released. On June 4 th, Ashley Lynn Henderson of Moberly was served a Randolph County warrant for failure to appear on a class A misdemeanor charge of stealing. Bond set at $329.57 cash only. Henderson posted a reduced bond of $100 cash only and was released. On June 4 th, Nathaniel David Zettler of Moberly was served a Randolph County warrant on a class A misdemeanor charge of stealing. Bond set at $2,000 surety or 10% cash allowed. Zettler posted the required bond and released.
On June 4 th, Daniel W. Garnett of Moberly was served a Randolph County warrant for failure to appear on a class A misdemeanor charge of non-support. Bond set at $750 cash only. Garnett posted the required bond and released. On June 4 th, Taylor E. Welch of Higbee was served a Randolph County warrant for failure to appear on an infraction of driver/front seat passenger failed to wear a properly adjusted/fastened safety belt. Bond set at $25 cash only. Welch posted the required bond and released. On June 5 th, Coleman Ray Brown of Huntsville was served three Randolph County warrants. Warrant one on a class E felony charge of attempted burglary 2 nd degree. Bond set at $5,000 cash or surety. Warrant two for failure to appear on a class A misdemeanor charge of stealing. Bond set at $2,500 cash only. Warrant three for failure to appear on class D felony charge of burglary 2 nd degree. Bond set at $2,500 cash only. Brown was released on his own recognizance by the court. On June 5 th, Shannon Colley of Huntsville was served a Randolph County warrant for failure to appear on a class D misdemeanor charge of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and a class A misdemeanor charge of operate vehicle on highway without a valid license 2 nd offense. Bond set at $150 cash only. Colley posted the required bond and released. On June 6 th, Ross Stephen Vancleve of rural Moberly was served two Randolph County warrants. Warrant one on a class D felony charge of possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid. Bond set at $10,000 surety, 10% cash allowed. Warrant two on a class D felony charge of possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid. Bond set at $10,000 surety, 10% cash allowed. Vancleve posted the required bond and released. On June 6 th, Scott Miles Bishop of rural Moberly was served a Randolph County warrant on a class E felony charge of domestic assault 3 rd degree. Bond set at $10,000 surety, 10% cash allowed. Bishop was unable to post the required bond and remains incarcerated. On June 6 th, Jacob Scott Wilhelm of Salisbury was served a Randolph County warrant on a class A felony charge of distribution of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of Marijuana in a protected location. Bond set at $20,000 cash only. Wilhelm was unable to post the required bond and remains incarcerated. On June 6 th, Stacey Ann Sipes (Sipe) of Excello was served a Randolph County warrant on two class D felony charges of possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid. Bond set at $10,000 cash or surety. Sipes posted the required bond and released.
On June 7 th, Adrian Gonzales of Kirksville was served a Randolph County warrant for a probation violation on two class C felony charges of possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of Marijuana. Bond set at $20,000 cash only. Gonzales remains in the Randolph County Jail in lieu of the required bond.
