Moved: Tala Kreidhieh (Present by Proxy) Seconded: Rizki Rachiq 1.6 Motion to Approve BOA MEETING DATES Be it resolved that the following dates will be the official meeting dates for the 2017-2018 Board of Administration year: August 13,2017 September 17,2017 October 8,2017 November 5,2017 December 3,2017 January 21,2018 February 11,2018 March 11,2018 April 8,2018 Moved:Tristan Lamanonica Seconded: Rizki Rachiq 1.7 Motion to Ratify Comptroller General Be it resolved that the 2017-2018 Board of Administration appoint Yannick Mugabo as the Comptroller General. Moved: Rizki Rachiq 1.8 Motion Our Turn Initiative Be it resolved that the implement the Our Turn initiative and create an intersectional student task force chaired by the Vice President Equity Be it further resolved that the create a campus wide sexual violence survey to be distributed and completed by the Undergraduate student population by December 2017. Moved: Arsalan Khan (Present by Proxy) Seconded: Milly Pang Main motion with amendment: Moved: Leila Moumouni-Tchoaussi Seconded: Arsalan Khan (Present by Proxy) 1.9 First Reading 101 Week Bracelets BE IT RESOLVED that article 10.7.8.3 be added to the Constitution to read: All positions defined in 10.7.8.1, who have bracelet-cutting authority must receive a Bracelet Cutting Training by the VP Social or President no later than seven (7) days prior to 101 Week. Should any of the defined individuals not complete the Bracelet Cutting Training, they may not have bracelet-cutting authority during 101 Week. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that article 10.7.8.4 be added to the Constitution to read: In the instance that a bracelet is cut during 101 Week, the penalties are as follows: a. for a 101er: they may no longer participate for the remainder of 101 Week, but may participate in future 101 Weeks as a Guide once completing guide trainings. b. for a Guide: they may no longer participate for the remainder of 101 Week and in future 101 Weeks. c. for a Federated Body Executive, Safety Ambassador, and/or 101 Crew Member: they may no longer participate for the remainder of 101 Week and future 101 Weeks. These members may also not be eligible to run for or Federated Body elections pending the decision of the 101 Council. d. for a UOSERT Member, penalties shall be the at the discretion of the UOSERT Advisory Board. e. The 101 Council may add disciplinary measures to the above-mentioned penalties but may not reduce. Seconded: Kathryn LeBlanc 1.10 First Reading Take Back the Night Be it resolved that section 10.2.2.5 read Federated bodies and other groups approved by the may not schedule events that would conflict with the mandatory events listed in 10.2.2.2 and must ensure that any

other events during their 101-week schedule do not prevent the maximum number of students from participating in the mandatory events. Fed bodies that fail to do this will subject themselves to a 25% penalty on their levies at the discretion of the VP Equity, VP Social and the VP Finance. Be it resolved that section 10.2.2.4 read Federated bodies and other groups that are approved by the social roundtable organizing their own 101 Week shall participate in these four events. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that article 10.5.3.6 be modified in the Constitution to read: The 101 Guide training program shall incorporate an anti-oppression training program approved by the Vice-President, Equity of the. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that article 10.5.3.8 be added to the Constitution to read: The 101 Guide Training program shall incorporate a minimum of a sixty (60) minute training on sexual violence prevention approved and provided by the Vice-President, Equity of the and/or a designate. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that article 10.5.3.9 be added to the Constitution to read: The 101 Guide Training program shall incorporate a minimum of a sixty (90) minute presentation of the rules and regulations of Bylaw 10 approved and provided by the Volunteer of Coordinator of the ; the Vice-President, Social of the ; and/or a designate.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all articles of section 10.5.3 (101 Guide Training Program) be renumbered accordingly. Seconded: Leila Moumouni-Tchouassi 1.12 First Reading: Appeal of 101 Council BE IT RESOLVED that article 10.8.4.11 be added to the Constitution to read: Decisions of 101 Council may be appealed to the Board of Administration. The Chairperson of the Board of Administration of the Federation shall, upon receipt of the written notice of appeal, send to the members of the Board of Administration a copy of the judgement and a notice to discuss the appeal at a meeting. 1.13 First Reading: Functions of the Social Roundtable and Safety Ambassadors BE IT RESOLVED that article 3.12.7.1 (d) be removed from the Constitution: Functions of the Social Roundtable: d. To recruit and oversee the work of the Safety Ambassadors during 101 Week as defined in Article 10.3.1. 1.14 First Reading: Quorum BE IT RESOLVED that article 3.1.9 be amended to read: Quorum for the Board of Administration shall be fifty percent (50%) of directors plus one. In exceptional circumstances, the Board of Administration shall vote on reducing the quorum to forty percent (40%) plus one Main Motion
