April 2005 to August 2008 : Director of Gaza Office in the Palestinian Independent Commission for Citizen's Rights (PICCR) 1- Supervising all the legal and administrative work of Lawyers, researchers, trainers, and administrators in all branches of the ICHR in Gaza Strip. 2- Manager of the Development Law and Public Policy Project in the ICHR which is intended to study and analyze Palestinian Laws and Draft Laws and ensure their compliance with human rights standards, and intervention for this purpose. 3- Development and supervision of legal research and reports produced by the ICHR, and/or by independent researchers. 4- Training and Public Awareness Officer in the ICHR. Duties include planning, implementation and evaluation of training projects, in addition to training community groups on human rights and law. 5- Represent the Commission at conferences and workshops held in the Commission's work. 6- Responsibility for relations and contacts with public and private institutions September 2000 April 2005: Lawyer and Researcher in the (PICCR). Responsible for running the Prison Visitation Project at the PICCR in Gaza. This includes organizing regular visits to prisons and detention centers run by the Palestinian National Authorities, reporting on prisoners' conditions and follow up of their complaints. Participation in developing the PICCR Annual Report, especially Chapter 4, which focuses on violations of citizens' rights. Active participation in handling citizens' complaints against violations of their rights. Writing articles on citizens' rights for the media, and for the PICCR quarterly newsletter. 1999 2000 : Director of North Ramallah Police Stations. Management of four police stations in North Ramallah, including administrative and financial matters. Running of personnel in the four stations. Ensuring active contact between Central Command and stations and units. 2

Assessment of the financial and technical needs for the four stations, and ensuring active management and distribution of resources. Management of public relations with the public institutions in Ramallah. Organizing and leading staff meetings and reporting. 1996 1999: Police Officer, authorized by the Attorney General to follow up the investigation office in Rimal Police Station. Reception of citizens and documenting their complaints. Investigation in all the cases the office receives and brining charges before defendants. Following up cases with the prosecution until files end. 1994 1996 : Independent lawyer.
