Dee Minchhoff made the motion to change the responsibility to the leadership succession committee. Krista White seconded the motion. The motion was carried. Jean Hershey Working through issues with previous treasure s work and meager record keeping $8542.86 currently in account. Of the balance, $500 was an anonymous donation for scholarships and $205 are donations to Water St. Rescue Mission CD started some years ago: the BOD thought the CD was closed and rolled into the chapter s checking account. However, in reality the monies were sent to the state due to account inactivity. Jean Hershey is working on retrieving the funds from the state with the bank s help.

Awards Committee Finance committee Governance committee Heritage committee Leadership committee A new spreadsheet has been created to help track the chapter s monies. Running low on checks. Jean Hershey will order the smallest amount possible until the chapter is dissolved Order of honor cords by previous treasurer: unsure how cords were paid for and where the balance of the cords are. Jean Hershey feels she has the cords that were ordered. Based on past minutes, the BOD feels 50 cords were ordered. Barb Zimmerman meet previous treasurer at LGH to pay for the cords for MU students Dee Minchoff Award nominations extend a week due to lack of nominations Kari Cellini Committed to one Ten Thousand Villages community shopping event at the Ephrata store Internal audit completed Jean Hershey suggested another internal audit before the separation of the chapters. Barb Zimmerman felt an additional audit was not needed. BOD agreed, no additional audit will take place prior to the separation of the chapters. Dee Minchhoff No report Krista White Committee met to update scrapbooks Kristen Zulkosky Committee chairs filled for new chapter at PCHS Will need list from Barb Zimmerman for chapter at MU Barb Zimmerman will send name of MU award winners after meeting Kari Cellini will follow-up about having events at the other two Ten Thousand Villages locations

Membership Involvement Committee Newsletter Program committee Krista White Reformulated new inductee orientation. Created three stations (1) video about STTI (2) about the chapter (3) committee information. Reviewed process; committee felt having all three stations in one room was noisy. Contacted chapter members with names of new inductee requesting mentor. Mentor assigned to each inductee 15 new members voiced interest in joining a committee. 15 new members voiced interest, but not now. Krista White contacted each inductee with committee information. Social activity tentatively planned for the fall of 2016 will now be the service fundraising event for Water Street Rescue Mission. With the planning of the service fundraising event, the committee asked if they can construct events independently, or if a committee needs BOD approval before going forward. The BOD feels committees should run fundraising events, social events, etc. past the BOD before sending event information to the membership Kristen Zulkoski Newsletter published and sent to the membership in June Met goal of sending out two newsletters in 2016 BOD feels next newsletter/membership communication should focus on the dissolution of the at-large chapter. Linda Ginder Tri-state consortium 10.16.16. Chapter will pay the registration fee for any member who wants to attend. Krista White will follow-up with list of interested inductees for committees Barb Zimmerman will follow-up to get more information on the Tri-state.
