Introduction 2.1 The purpose of this public meeting is to hear persons comments in the matter of an application to amend the Zone By-law for the following file(s): #02-2016 #03-2016 The Planning Coordinator will provide a brief overview of the details of the file. The applicant will then be given an opportunity to explain the need for the Zoning By-law amendment. Then, any person or public body, in opposition and then favour, to the application will be heard. If a person or public body does not make oral or written submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to the Municipality of Centre Hastings before the by-law is passed, the person or public body may not be added to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board (OMB) unless, in the opinion of the Board, there are reasonable grounds to do so. If you wish to be notified of the decision of Council in respect to any of the below listed applications, you must submit a written request to the Clerk. This will also entitle you to be advised of a possible Ontario Municipal Board Hearing. The Clerk must provide notice of council s decision to all those who request a copy within 15 days after the day the by-law is passed. AGENDA ITEM #3.1 THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CENTRE HASTINGS BY-LAW NUMBER 2016-35 BEING a By-law under the provisions of Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, as amended, to amend Zoning By-law Number 2002-10, as otherwise amended, of the Municipality of Centre Hastings, with respect to certain lands located on Johnston Road, having legal description Part Lot 11, Concession 7 Municipality of Centre Hastings (geographic Township of Huntingdon). WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Centre Hastings deems it advisable to amend Zoning By-law Number 2002-10, as otherwise amended, with respect to the above described lands, and under the provisions of the Planning Act R.S.O., 1990, as amended, has the authority to do so. NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CENTRE HASTINGS ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. THAT By-law Number 2002-10, as otherwise amended, is further amended from the Rural (RU) Zone to the Rural Residential (RR) Zone for the lands as shown on Schedule 1 attached hereto. 2. THAT all requirements pertaining to the Rural Residential (RR) Zone of Comprehensive Zoning By-law 2002-10 shall apply. 3. THAT Schedule '1' attached hereto forms part of this By-law; and 4.
