Allocated funding for travel to 120 graduate students 2. In negotiations with the Dean of different colleges to increase the stipend for graduate students 3. Grad Scholar event on October 24 th where 150 students attended 4. Last committee meeting approved to add covering costs for accommodation for one night. i. Negotiating with A&S on the process to see how we can incorporate covering costs for accommodation in the online form. 5. Negotiating with the A&S office to be able to approve some of the travel fund applications. The process of reviewing travel funds is taking over 5 weeks. i. Office of Alumni Relations is currently in the battle of the blues. If you guys want to promote and help win against FAU in the donor challenge. 2. Panther Alumni week is in February but we are starting application for the student committee to try to get alumni on campus and students engaged for that week. C. Senator Alpert- 1. Next week Nov. 6 th from 4-5pm Interns Got Talents 2. Vigil at 6:45pm PG6 130 D. Senator Vera 1. I do not think it is fair for Senator Beck to continue holding position as Housing Senator because it does not to justice to the constituents.
