6 Approval of Bid for Middle School Windows WHEREAS, sealed bids for a Middle School windows project were duly advertised, received and publically opened at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, May 6, 2014, and WHEREAS, bids from the following were received: Allgaier Construction, Clarence Center, NY $ 196,700 Nichter Construction, Lancaster, NY $ 213,000 Transit Construction, Elma, NY $ 200,000, and WHEREAS, an analysis of the bids based on the specifications and low price indicate that Allgaier Construction, Clarence Center, NY, be awarded the bid for the Middle School Window project.
7 Appointment of Clerk II (SS) RESOLVED, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, that Jessica Vazquez, Dunkirk, NY, is hereby appointed to the position of Clerk II (SS), effective May 1, 2014, Step 1, Grade II, $12.66 per hour. Her six month probationary period will continue and expire on June 3, 2014. NOTE: Ms. Vazquez will continue her assignment in the High School guidance office.
