City of Fortuna Design Review Board Minutes of July 9,2013 Members present: Members absent: Staff present: Others: Paul Farnham, Jacques Debets, Linda Gardner, Sharon Vinum Charles Trujillo Stephen Avis CALL TO ORDER APPROVAL OF MINUTES PUBLIC HEARINGS The meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m. by Chairman Debets Minutes of the March 14,2013 meeting were approved as submitted GardnerlF arnham Tractor Supply Company The project was represented by Jim Todd of California Gold Development. Speaking in favor of the project were John Egan and Dennis Wendt. The Board approved of the overall plan but expressed concern over the placement of the refuse collection area that faces River Ranch Road. Input from the project proponents demonstrated that other locations have issues related to ease of collection and distance (through rain) that cardboard and trash must be taken. The Plan calls for the refuse cans to be in a screened area with landscape and painted to match the building. The Resolution DRB-2013-6, with a motion by Vinum and second by Gardner, was approved unanimously.
