SPACE WEEK From Mark Jager A Word From Our Treasurer As the current Treasurer for our Club, may I please ask a small favor from all our Members who write checks for any monies to the NALFL? To assist in accounting of the income to our Chapter, would you please specify the "reason" for the amounts in the lower left line of the checks? Also, for multiple amounts combined into a single payment, please state the amounts for each of the "reasons" so I know how the monies should be assigned. Otherwise I have to determine if the total amount is a multiple of $17 (for lunches) or $30 (for memberships) and must guess your intent. HELP! Thank you for your assistance, Wayne Owens, Treasurer/NALFL Super Programs Are On Tap This Fall From Roselle Hanson, Program Chair We know how important it is to provide programs with good speakers and interesting content. This fall speakers will inform the NAL members about research and technology development activities ongoing at KSC and the new ground systems being developed at KSC for Orion and the Space Launch System. We will also hear about the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation, and enjoy a holiday luncheon in December at the Debus Center. Early in the new year, we will learn about the small satellite initiative led by KSC's Launch Services Program. Additional speakers rounding out the year include SpaceX and others still to be determined. We enjoy hearing feedback, so let us know what you think.

This site is intended to be a living tribute to those many thousands of American space workers who have made American space flight possible. It is dedicated to all the engineers, scientists,
technicians, administrators, secretaries, planners, schedulers, janitors and everyone else who came to work every day to get the job done. If you know someone who worked in the Space program and should be included, please visit http://hall.spacewalk offame.org/ and have their name added. If you have a child or grandchild who is interested in space related activities, the new STEAM Saturdays program at SWOF is worth your consideration.
