LUNCHEON The monthly Chamber luncheon will be held on Thursday, October 12th at noon at the First Lockhart Baptist Church Connection Center, 200 S. Blanco. Lighted Christmas Parade Friday Night, December 1st Time to start planning your Lighted Christmas Parade float. The Lighted Christmas Parade kicks-off A Dickens Christmas in Lockhart, Dec 1st & 2nd. During Dickens, the Downtown Square is transformed into 19th century England as characters from Charles Dickens' classic novels stroll downtown. 5th Annual Veterans Day Fish Fry Lockhart Chamber of Commerce Refer a Friend Program. Current members who refer a new member to join the Chamber will get a discounted membership. The new member will get ½ off (up to $100), and the current member will receive ½ off (up to $100) of their next renewal. This offer is also be available to two non-members. Example 1: Member refers non-member Company A is a chamber member and refers Company B to join the Chamber. Company B would receive ½ off (up to $100) their new membership when they join and when Company A renews their membership they receive have ½ off (up to $100). Example 2: Two non-members join Company 1 and Company 2 hear about this great Chamber promotion and decide they want to join together. They would both would receive ½ off (up to $100) of their new membership. Promotion ends December 31, 2017. MISSION STATEMENT The mission of the LOCKHART CHAMBER OF COMMERCE as stated in our by-laws is: To improve and strengthen the business environment of Lockhart in order to promote the economic well being of all citizens; to provide services to membership; to communicate views of the business community; to enhance the quality of life for the entire community; to support constructive initiatives on major issues of public policy. For the fifth consecutive year, the Lockhart Chamber of Commerce will be honoring our veterans with a fish fry on Friday, November 10th, noon, at the First Lockhart Baptist Church Connection Center, located at 200 S. Blanco St. Lunch is provided to all veterans and their families free of charge. This event is open to the public and everyone is invited to attend. At-will donations for non-veteran and non-veteran families are encouraged, but not required. In order to make this event possible, we invite our local citizens and businesses to partner with us.
