Extra notes were added to address their concerns. The policy will goe before the State Committee in October. State of NJ vs. Quaker Valley Farms, Re: Superior Court Motion for Stay, Permission to use existing hoop-houses: Quaker Valley Farms is allowed to use the eight hoop-houses that were already started, but cannot begin anything new. Walt hopes to have resolved by end of NEW BUSINESS: Meeting Date Change: The date for the October District Supervisors meeting has been changed from Tuesday, October 7 th to Tuesday, October 14 th. 2014 NJACD Nominating Committee Report: Van Nuys attended a tele-conference at the District on September 8 th to discuss several positions that are open for nomination. They are looking for new people to fill these positions. Deadline for nominations is September15 th. Foley Treatment of Milk House Waste Agreement: Hunter Birckhead, Technical Service Provider is working on a contract with Linda Peterson (NRCS). It is a $5,000 engineering job. The District would receive 15% for Administrative cost. Need to pass agreement by Walt Wilson. Title Changes for Mike DePalma and Dawn Schwenderman: Engisch suggested to Board to change the title of Mike DePalma from Site Inspector to Resource Specialist and Dawn Schwenderman from District Clerk to Bookkeeper/Secretary. Both DePalma and Schwenderman assumed these duties on July 1, 2014 Following a discussion, a motion was made: MOTION: Stothoff, 2 nd Mathews; To change Mike DePalma s title to Resource Specialist and Dawn Schwenderman s title to Bookkeeper/Secretary.
