There is 2 hereby created within the government of Guam an accrued travel mileage 3 program for the use of travel mileage earned as a result of all purchases 4 made by the government of Guam through the use of government of Guam 5 credit card purchases. This program shall be kno\vn as the Senator Edward 6 J. Cruz Medical Referral and Education Mileage Program (MREMP) to be 7 administered by the Department of Administration for all travel conducted 8 by employees of the Executive Branch of the government of Guam. The 9 Guam Legislature, the Unified Judiciary of Guam, and other agencies, 10 instrumentalities, autonomous agencies, and public corporations of the 11 government of Guam that purchase airline tickets through the use of credit 12 cards, shall administer their respective accrued travel mileage programs 13 pursuant to the requirements of this Section." 14 "( e) Eligibility. 15 (3) A GDOE student who is authorized by a committee 16 established by the Superintendent of Education to participate at an off- 17 island academic, sports or cultural activity is also eligible for 18 participation to receive the mileage benefits." 19 Section 2. Effective Date. The provisions of this Act shall become 20 effective upon enactment. 2

l "(b) Medical Referral and Education Mileage Program. There is 2 hereby created within the government of Guam an accrued travel mileage 3 program for the use of travel mileage earned as a result of all purchases 4 made by the government of Guam through the use of government of Guam 5 credit card purchases. This program shall be known as the Senator Edward 6 J. Cruz Medical Referral and Education Mileage Program (MREMP) to be 7 administered by the Department of Administration for all travel conducted 8 by employees of the Executive Branch of the government of Guam. The 9 Guam Legislature, the Unified Judiciary of Guam, and other agencies, l 0 instrumentalities, autonomous agencies, and public corporations of the 11 government of Guam that purchase airline tickets through the use of credit 12 cards, shall administer their respective accrued travel mileage programs 13 pursuant to the requirements of this Section." 14 "( e) Eligibility. 15 (3) A GDOE student who is authorized by a committee 16 established by the Superintendent of Education to participate at an off- 17 island academic, sports or cultural activity is also eligible for 18 participation to receive the mileage benefits." 19 Section 2. Effective Date. The provisions of this Act shall become 20 effective upon enactment. 2
