Agenda 2 : IMA Prayer and Flag Salutation were recited by Dr. P.H. Gupta. Agenda 3 : No condolence Agenda 4 : President s Address : Dr. Bipin Chandra Pandey, State President thanked the members of IMA to give him a chance to serve the Association and will try his best to justify the post he has taken over from Dr. T. S. Rautela. He requested the members to maintain unity among the members always give due regards and respect to all medical professionals. He urged the members to avoid malpractices and introspect why the public is not with our professionals. Agenda 5 : Annual Report 2016 17 of Hony. State Secretary was unanimously adopted by the House. Agenda 6 : Audited Accounts 2016-17 was placed in the House and was unanimously passed by the House. Annual Report and audited accounts of IMA UA State Faculty of CGP and IMA AMS UA Chapter 2016 17 were placed and were unanimously adopted by the House. Dr. D. D. Choudhury informed the house that Rs. 88,000/- (rupees eighty eight thousand) only was paid as tax to Income Tax Department for the year 2016-17. Agenda 7 : Proposed budget for the 2017-18 was placed in the House and was unanimously adopted by the House. Agenda 8 : Dr. D.D. Choudhury proposed M/s I.C. Sanghal & Co., Chartered Accountants to be the C.A. of IMA UA State Branch for the year 2017-18 and was unanimously passed by the House. Agenda 9 : No resolutions were brought forward by the local branches and individual members. Agenda 10 : All the resolutions for the year 2016-17 brought forward by the Working Committee were unanimously adopted by the House. Agenda 11 : Dr. D. D. Choudhury requested Dr. K. C. Lohani, Chairman, Election Commission and Dr. R. N. Singh, Member, Election Commission to come into the dias and conduct the election process of State Branch Office Bearers, State Representatives to Central Working Committee & IMA UA State Working Committee. Dr. K. C. Lohani informed the house that the Election Commission has received nominations for the various posts and after scrutiny few nominations were found invalid and thus he declared the result as follows : S. Agarwal s nomination is valid but he also withdrew his nomination from the post of Member, SWC. 3. Dr. Ela Mehrotra, Dr. Veena Joshi, Dr. Sanjeev Garg s nominations are invalid as they are not State Council members. Thus, all the nominations are valid and declared elected as per the post applied for. Dr. J. P. Sharma, Dehradun Dr. Shatanshu Mathur, Kashipur Dr. K. C. Lohani thanked all the members for helping in conducting election smoothly. Dr. Bipin Chandra Pandey, State President, IMA UA State thanked Dr. K. C. Lohani and Dr. R. N. Singh for conducting election very smoothly, he also thanked all the members present in the house for the same. Nominated State Working Committee Members : President of the State Branch will nominate 5 (five) members and accordingly the state office will inform the concerned nominated members about their nomination to SWC. Agenda 13 : Dr. D.D. Choudhury, requested the House to delegate Power to the State Working Committee for day-to-day working of the Association and which was unanimously approved by the House. Agenda 14 : Nomination of Election Commssion for the year 2017 18 : Dr. D. D. Choudhury informed the house that as per protocol Dr. R. N. Singh will be the Chairman of the Election Commission, Dr. R. K. Singhal, Dr. Ravi Singhal will be the members of Election Commission and to which Dr. D. C. Pant informed the house that Dr. R. K. Singhal is not attending the meeting of the state and in his place Dr. T. S. Rautela should be made as member of the Election Commssion of IMA UA State branch and which was unanimously approved by the house. Agenda 15 : Any Other Matter: Dr. D. D. Choudhury raised the following issues : 1. HBI : a) IMA HBI Rudrapur has registered 34 Clinical Establishments. a) IMA HBI Roorkee has registered 39 Clinical Establishments. 2. He requested other branches to register Clinical Establishments under HBI as early as possible as it is the need of the hour. 3. Health Check up for the members and their families should be done under the agies of local IMA banner. 4. Aao School Chalein- Dr. Sandhya Bhatnagar is the Coordinator of this project and she has organized this program in some schools in Roorkee and she was requested to spread this program throughout the state with the help of local branches. 5. Aao Gao Chalein It is a very prestigious program of IMA and whenever such programs are planned a prior intimation regarding this program has to be given to CMO and CMO has to be made satisfied that how the waste generated in this program will be disposed off. He requested the members to volunteer for the same and send the name to the state office latest by 15 th January, 2018, so that a State Committee can be formed. Dr. Shatanshu Mathur suggested that we should have State Academic Body and the committee should suggest topics for the CMEs and which should be conducted in all the branches. He also suggested that to improve the attendance in the conferences Free Paper/Poster presentation for MBBS and interns and free paper for Clinicians level should be planned, short case presentation can also be included. Compulsory Accreditation points for CME to improve attendence should be planned.

Dr. D. D. Choudhury suggested that in every CME of local branches / State branches should discuss about Medical Ethics regularly, as doctors are very much unaware of Medical Ethics. Dr. D. D. Choudhury proposed to have a State Academic Committee and which was approved by the house. The following members were nominated in the committee: a) Dr. Shatanshu Mathur - Chairman b) Chairman & Secretary, IMA AMS (Member) c) Director & Secretary, IMA CGP (Member) The Committee is asked to prepare the blue print of the same and should be sent to the state office latest by 15 th January, 2018 so that the same can be discussed in the State Leadership Meet to be held in third week of January, 2018 in Bazpur. Dr. D. D. Choudhury suggested that a State Disciplinary & Ethics Committee should be formed in the State and as well as local level. For State level he suggested the following names and which was approved by the house : a) Dr. R. N. Singh, Dehradun - Chairman b) Dr. Ajay Khanna, Dehradun - Member c) Dr. K. C. Lohani, - Member d) Dr. Deepak Rastogi, Rudrapur - Member e) Dr. Ravi Prakash Futela, Rudrapur - Member f) Dr. Veena Joshi, Kashipur - Member g) Dr. C. S. Joshi, Khatima - Member h) Dr. Dinesh Singh, Haridwar - Member i) Dr. Hansa Singh, Bazpur - Member j) Dr. Ashank Airan, Roorkee - Member The Committee is asked to prepare the blue print of the same and should be sent to the state office latest by 15 th January, 2018 so that the same can be discussed in the State Leadership Meet to be held in third week of January, 2018 in Bazpur. Dr. D. D. Choudhury suggested that a State Doctors Patients Grievance Cells should be formed in the State and as well as local level. For State level he suggested the following names and which was approved by the house : a) Dr. Arvind Sharma, Kashipur - Chairman b) Dr. P. H. Dr. D. D. Choudhury suggested that a State Media Cell should be formed in the State and as well as local level. For State level he suggested the following names and which was approved by the house : a) Dr. V. K. Chhabra, Kashipur - Chairman

Dr. D. D. Choudhury proposed to have Annual Sports and Cultural Activity Day and which was approved by the house. Dr. Arvind Sharma was entrusted to formulate the policy of the annual sports which will be held at Kashipur and submit the same to the state office by third week of January, 2018. Dr. Sandhya Bhatnagar was entrusted to prepare policy of Culutral Activity to be held at Roorkee and the policy to be sent to the state office. All the proposals will be sent to the local branches to give their feedback. Dr. Arvind Sharma informed the house that a half marathon will be organize by IMA Kashipur Branch on 14 th January, 2018 and the same can be informed to all local branches to participate. Dr. Sandhya Bhatnagar suggested to have separate whatsapp group for the above mentioned events but Dr. D. D. Choudhury informed the members that there is no need to have separate whatsapp group for the said events as there is already an official whatsapp group exists and whose administrator is Dr. Ashank Airan and house approved the same. Dr. D. D. Choudhury informed the house that the awards committee meeting was held on 11 th November, 2017 under the Chairmanship of Dr. T. S. Rautela, the then President, IMA UA State branch. In the meeting of Awards Committee, members has proposed the following guidelines to be considered by the State Working Committee meeting to be held on 16 th December, 2017 in. The recommendation are : The criteria of the following Awards : A) Best Member Award : a) Should be life member of IMA for 10 years b) Attendance in the state meeting c) Contribution towards State/ National IMA Agendas d) No indulgence in any illegal/ unethical activities in his career e) Registered in Uttarakhand Medical Council f) Any other achievements g) Cash award h) To be bestowed every third year Members suggested that this award should be given every year instead of every third year. The members proposed the Cash Award of Rs. 5000/- (rupees five thousand) only can be given and which was approved by the house. B) Lifetime Achievement Award : a) Should be life member for 30 years b) Registered with Uttarakhand Medical Council c) Contribution towards State/ National IMA Agendas d) No indulgence in any illegal/ unethical activities in his career

e) Local branch office bearer f) State level office bearer g) National lever office bearer h) Any other achievements i) Cash award j) To be bestowed every third year The members proposed the Cash Award of Rs. 11,000/- (rupees eleven thousand) only can be given and which was approved by the house. The committee further suggested that in Best Branch Award all the three categories should have First & Second Prize instead of only First Prize. Dr. D. D. Choudhury informed the then President that the Award Committee s decision will be placed in the ensuing State Council meeting in and from next year the recommendations can be considered if approved by the house Dr. D.D. Choudhury thanked the organizing committee for holding memorable conference and especially thanked Dr. Ajay Pal, Organizing Secretary, Dr. J. S. Khurana, Organizing Chairman, Dr. P. H. Gupta, State Chairman, Dr. Anil Agarwal, President, IMA and Dr. Rahul Singh, Hony. Secretary, IMA Branch.
