Presidents Report President Marion Allen Report posted on Region XI website Contacted chapters who had fallen below the ten member requirement Noted that the Honorable Ramona McCarthy-Hawkins was in a car accident. Flowers were sent from the Region. Participated on the Regional Council Presidents conference call and the Honorable David Groves, NDA Chair asked the Presidents to ensure that their respective regional delegates maintained proper follow decorum. He stressed that he will be looking to the RCP s to help maintain floor order. 1 P age

Treasury Report April Powers-Matthews Report provided for Informational Purposes Noted that some chapters have not picked up their revenue share checks and others have not cashed the revenue sharing check Provided Region advertisement to National for the NTI Journal It was moved by Kevin Coleman (Benjamin Banneker) to accept the report subject to audit and second by James Forbes (Sankofa) Report was accepted. Financial Secretary Report Kevin Coleman Received RXI Council Chapter Dues CY 2016 (Financial): 45/57 Received at RXI (Form 990s and IRS e-post Card): 10/57 Received at National (Form 990s and IRS e-post Card): 42/57 Received NTI 2016 Hospitality Suite: 19/57 Received FORM 4 s: 37/57 It was moved by Tiffany Andrews (DIA) to accept the report and second by Paula Davis (IRS New Carrollton). Report was accepted. Regional Directors Report Wesley Jarmon and Dr. Hezekiah Braxton III (excused) Report is posted Board of Directors meeting was held on June 28, 2016 A special Board of Directors meeting will be a teleconference on July 13 th Board of Directors meeting during the NTI will be held August 19th Noted that NTI is scheduled for August 22-25 and the host hotel and the Marriott are completely booked. He deferred update regarding the hotel status to Norma Samuels, National Treasurer Completed review of the By-Laws from the Coast Guard and the Defense Logistics Agency. Need to speak with those organizations regarding their By-Laws. Chapter Challenges None President Marion Allen acknowledged the attendance of the National Executive Board Members and guest: President Honorable Darlene Young, Norma Samuels, National Treasurer, Yolanda Tines, Interim National Assistant Treasurer, Paula Davis, Correspondence Secretary, Honorable Lamont Johnson, National Sargent-At-Arms and Honorable Gerald Reed, National Presidential Advisor, Honorable David Groves, 2016 NDA Chair, Honorable Ramsey Alexander, National Parliamentarian. Remarks provided by National President Honorable Darlene Young Reiterated about the hotel situation during the NTI. Currently historically based there is a 100 room block. 485 registrants for the NTI which causes a shortage of the room block. President Young recommended using all mechanisms possible to obtain a room for the NTI The NTI will be back in Atlantic City next year (2017) During the Delegates assembly, President Young will mention Year to date accomplishments by the Executive Team and her Year to date President Report Keynote Speaker at the NTI will be the GSA Administrator for the opening Plenary (confirmed) and Senator Corey Booker, NJ is slated for the closing session, pending confirmation 2 Page

She emphatically noted that the Delegates Assembly will only be one day Chapter Successes Shirley Suggs (FCC Benjamin Hooks) Is spotlighted in the agency s campaign promoting training and development. And also thanked the Region for the emails and cards. Melinda DeLoatch-Speight chapter (EPA William D. Barber) is having a Jeans and T Shirt Cabaret on Saturday July 29 th, 2016 On August 22, 2016 at the NTI There will seven DYLA Graduates. Melinda Deloatch-Speight is one of the graduates that will be graduating from the program Matthew Fogg mentioned that he will be running for BIG National President Wesley Jarmon mentioned that he will be seeking re-election for Region XI Board of Director 4 P age

Director Jarmon placed a card out on the table for everyone to sign for the Honorable Ms. Ramona McCarthy- Hawkins.
