Residents were reminded to place leaves at the curb of their property not in the street. Storm drains are being clogged and causing flooding. Please be aware of what is to be recycled. Clean up bottles and jars. Recycling trucks are being turned away at the county if truck contains items that are not recyclable. Panera Bread and Chick-fil-A is moving forward with plans to build in Stafford. Mayor gave the Police report of activities in Stafford. Mayor Spodofora wished all residents a Happy and Health Holiday. COUNCILMAN TAYLOR- Also reminding residents to not place leaves in the street or over storm drains. Very important to not block streets. COUNCILMAN MCKENNA- Thanking all of our Veterans and members of the American Legion post 511 for holding the annual ceremony in Veterans Plaza. Recycling report was given and if you need to know more what can be specifically put in the recycling containers contact Ocean County recycling. The website provides exactly what can be put in the recycling containers. COUNCILMAN MARCHAL- A contract has been awarded to paint the Manahawkin Baptist Church. December 7 th at 6:00 pm Tree Lighting Ceremony. Wished everyone a Happy Holiday. COUNCILMAN SMITH- There has been many reports of telephone scammers. Please make your neighbors and friends aware. Thermal shopping bags have been provided to residents. Community Center has bags available. Our Volunteer First Aid Squad still averaging four calls a day. COUNCILMAN FESSLER- Community Outreach has been working with Southern Regional High School. Funds have been donated to enable forty to sixty families with meals. Thanks Mayor and Council for all their hard work. Wished the next Governing Body good luck. It has been a privilege to serve. COUNCILMAN FIX- Waiting on the report for the American Legion building. Pavilion is coming along weather permitting. Wishing residents a Happy Thanksgiving.

Jeanine Sciglitano-Weaver Drive-Expressed concerns over making non-permanent residents aware of the rules on recycling for Stafford Township Dawn Pappatheodora-Florence Lane suggested we fine residents who do not comply with the recycling rules and regulations Paul Krier-Stormy Road-Expressed concern on personnel changes and policy changes since the election.
