X. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES (DECEMBER 17, 2014) A motion was made to approve the minutes from the December 17, 2014 meeting as presented. Motion approved. m/s Kennedy/Whalen XI. CHAIRPERSON'S REPORT No report. XII. LONG RANGE PLAN UPDATE Mr. Mulnix explained the proposed addition of the US-31 project in Grand Haven to the LRTP project list. A motion was made and seconded to approve the change. During discussion Monetza stated his opposition to the project. Scott and Stille also voiced their opposition. Redmond voiced MDOTs reasoning for including the project in the LRTP project list. Motion failed on a roll call vote. All members present except MDOT representative Redmond voted against the motion. m/s Whalen/Kennedy XIII. FY 2014-2017 TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM Mr. Mulnix explained the proposed changes to the 2014-2017 TIP as follows: Ottawa County Road Commission- Change Year from FY2016 to FY2015 Amendment G Fruitport Road -Kelly Street to Muskegon County Line. Mr. Tom Anderson commented on the proposed Muskegon County Road funding millage. Discussion ensued. Mr. Elmer Hoyle had a question about the rural route ridership numbers.
