Supervisor Pedersen stated that he attended a reception for newly seated Kings County Superior Court Judge Randy Edwards on November 2, 2018, attended the Tachi Palace Gaming & Casino 35 year anniversary event on November 3, 2018, and attended the Giacomazzi Dairy 125 year anniversary on November 4, 2018. Supervisor Verboon stated that he attended the San Joaquin Valley Water Infrastructure Authority meeting on November 5, 2018. Supervisor Fagundes stated that he helped cook for the Kings County Battle of the Badges blood drive on November 2, 2018, participated as a judge of county office decorations on October 30, 2018 and county employee costume contest on October 31, 2018. Supervisor Neves stated that he attended the trunk or treat events in Stratford on October 31, 2018, attended the Tachi Palace Gaming Casino 35 th Anniversary events, attended the 4-H fundraiser on November 1, 2018, cooked for the Kings County Battle of the Badges blood drive on November 2, 2018, announced West Hills College Volleyball, attended the Trace Adkins concert at Tachi Palace on November 2, 2018, attended the Lemoore Rotary 38 th annual crab feed and Lemoore City 60 th anniversary on November 2, 2018, attended the Cabrillo club installation dinner on November 4, 2018 and attended the Lemoore High School Oversight committee meeting on November 5, 2018. Supervisor Valle thanked Supervisor Pedersen for attending the Tachi Palace Gaming Casino 35 th anniversary event to present the proclamation from the Board in his place due to a family emergency.

Page 4 of 5 Board Correspondence: Rebecca Campbell stated that the Board received an email from Kings County Association of Governments Director, Terri King seeking two nominations who are elected officials to fill a vacancy on the Partnership for the San Joaquin Valley Board and staff will bring an item back to the Board on a future agenda. She stated that the Board received a letter from the California Public Utilities Commission stating that they have opened proceedings to guide and review investor owned electric utilities wildfire mitigation plans and stakeholders are encouraged to provide input on their website, and a preconference at 10:30 a.m. in San Francisco and it can be attended by webcast. Upcoming Events: Rebecca Campbell stated that the State of the County brown bag will be held on November 14, 2018, the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District will hold a public hearing for adoption of proposed 2018 PM 2.5 plan for the 1997, 2006 and 2012 standards on November 15, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. at the Fresno office, the Thanksgiving day community dinner will be held at the Lemoore Senior center from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the California State Association of Counties annual conference will be held in San Diego on November 26-30, 2018.
